New revalidation times ( Jan 22, 2002 Onwards)

Waiting from Oct 30th - HELP

I sent mine on Oct 30 and have called DOS who say they stamped n mailed it on Jan 11-14th. I have checked with my mail room, post office and Lawyers but no one has it. I even had to cancel my India tickets.
Mine is not in the anthrax bucket.
I did not include a Fedex envelope.
Any ideas ?

I believe if you didn\'t include return envlope, they will send
your PP by UPS regular mail which shouldn\'t take more than 10-15 days.

check with UPS people too...

you mean USPS

You mean US Postal Service right ? I check with them as well as UPS ( United PArcel Service ) . Nothing. It has just vanished............

I have sent mine on DEC 4th & reached St Louis on Dec 6th, So I should be receiving it by next week.

How to FedEx passport

I sent my Passport for re-validation by Fed-Ex. I Enclosed another envelope with a fed-ex form filled with return address and credit card info. However they did not charge the crdit card for the return envelope (they say it\'ll be charged only when the evelope is dispatched back to me)
I am not sure if this is the right way?

attached return fedex-when should i get it? any ideas

Recd PP on 2/7 only for my son....

Sent 4 PP on 12/4 and got back only 1 for my son on 2/7. still waiting for the rest.

As you guys all know from my previous post that I have been waiting for my pp to arrive for a long time.

Sent nov 2nd... rcvd st.louis nov 5th... transferred to washington dec 3rd. approved jan 28 and still havent received it. I used fed ex return envelope and its still not sent. Any body in a similar situation...

Can anybody suggest me what i should do. Thanks in advance...
 
Withdrew application, not received pp yet

received at st.louis by Dec-11
Faxed my withdrawal application on Jan 30 as I found out that my current visa is valid until dec 2002.(I know I was stupid to send my pp without reading the instructions to apply for visa-revalidation)
I have not yet received my passport back . I enclosed return fedex cover with my application earlier. Can someone tell me whether I need to call the department employees and request for withdrawal again? Is there any chance that I will get the new visa stamped? Do I need to fax the withdrawing application to them again?

I sent my PP on 11/28/2001
Received at St. Loui on 11/29/2001 (sent by UPS next day)
Got approved on 01/29/2002
Still waiting to receive my passport.

I happened to talk to visa officer and she told me that it
takes 2-3 weeks.
I called again after 1 week. This time the answer was that
call next week (2nd week) and check again.
I called again yesterday and told it might come next week.
But again there is no gurantee. It might come this week or
may take even month end.

I don\'t know why but I am anticipating that it should be done
by 3rd week. But its just a hope.

Tracking application in St Louis and Washington DC

How can one track the status of an application sent to sent Louis. I tried calling 202 663 1225 number but I could not get to talk to anyone. The automated mesaage says they are processing applications recieved prior to Jan 4th.

Please help

I would suggest that you guys send through fedex. it helps they have pickups more often than ups etc in st louis

My wife\'s passport received.
Sent: Dec 17th 2001.
Appr: Jan 24th 2002.
Recd: Feb 12th 2002.

Re-validation done

H1B re-validation time: (here are my details)

Sent passport (fedex overnight) to St.Louis on December 26th, 2001.

Got back (again, via fedex overnight) the stamped passport last friday, ie. February 8th, 2001.

A point that may be of interest would be, though I\'d sent the passport to St.Louis for stamping, the passport was sent back to me from Washington DC!.
