Hi All,

I am in a tricky situation. I was sponsored by my mom who's a US Citizen and I got my green card in Feb 2005. I was married and had a kid even before i got the green card. But i didn't disclose this to the USCIS as mine was already in process for a while and didn't want to prolong that any further.

My wife and daughter are back in my home country and I don't know the options I have for bringing them to USA.

Once I am a citizen can i go ahead and sponsor them and if so what will be the process like.

Any replies would be appreciated.

You should talk to lawyers.. Good lawyers.
Basically, you got GC about 2 years earlier than you are supposed to because you got it under F1 though you were actually under F3.

I certainly see the GC being rescinded. The only question is whether USCIS will catch the fraud.
Right.
They know when he got married from marriage certificate or so, also know when he got GC under which category. So, they have all the materials, but well, USCIS "sometimes:o" makes mistakes.. so....

even if they make the mistake, they can catch it later. His citizenship will be revoked (or a GC, if he is still a resident), and all of them will be sent packing.
Don't you remember a story just like that this year about a couple from the Phillipines? they got married 20+ years ago, then got immigrant visas as unmarried children, and lived in the States all this time. They applied for citizenship and oops, their marriage came to light, they were stripped of their GCs and deported to Phillipines.
