i had my interview for 485 7 months ago. And still haven't receive anything yet.

What was the basis for the underlying basis for adjustment? I-130, I-140, I-360, asylum, refugee, other? Got any "issues"?

Provide some details.

I'm married to a us citizen we been married for 3 years now. I was in removal cause i married before but never go to the interview. We pass the 130 interview wich we were separate for about an hour. Then the judge terminated the removal. 2months we had interview the officer said he didn't have our file in the system to give about 2 weeks for him to get the file and approve the case. A month later i did infos pass they said, the receive my file from the court. And i should get something in 30 days, that come did another infos pass samething. now it been over 6 months. I called 1800 numbers more than 100 times nothing. That is why i want to contact congressman.

If do you want to contact a member of Congress, it is generally the person that represents your district you currently reside in. Look for their website online, because some might have forms that they want you to fill out. My representative of congress has a form that needs to be filed out basically authorizing release of information to their office in accordance with the Privacy Act.

Why were you in Removal Proceedings in the first place? How did you enter the country and when? You only gave info about the substance of your "inquiry" that you will present to the Congressional office but not about the underlying case.

A Congressional Inquiry is hit-and-miss. It depends on who gets the inquiry. Will it be a brand new unpaid intern or an actual experienced paid staffer with contacts at USCIS? You see how that works? You may want to consider which Congressional Rep you contact. A first term person may not have the contacts to get anything done but a veteran multiple term person will. Choose wisely.

I was in removal cause i was married and never go the interview, then i had a letter to go to the court. Before that letter i was married to my second wife. And we had strock interview for 130 and pass it.
