N400 Application Question

Hi Guys,

I will be applying for my citizenship very soon and had a few questions.

1 - Do i need to send my marriage certificate along with the application?. It says to send in annulment and divorce certificates but no mention of marriage certificates.

2 -I dont have my NP as it was taken away by the INS when I had applied for Asylum. Will that be an issue. I do have my RTD and RP.

Your NP was taken away? That's strange. They don't have that right, I don't think. But, you don't need it.

Regarding taking your passport...were you in custody at the time? Or did you perhaps enter it into evidence and not ask for it to be returned? If they have it it may be in your file at the time of your interview.
