N-652 "Decision Cannot Be Made"

I think I'll be in the same boat.
I did 9 trips outside US for the past 5 years.
None over 3 months. Total days outside 641 or roughly 22 months.
My interview is next month.
I'm afraid IO might fixate on these trips and delays decision.
What is the best way to handle this?
I have checked and double checked all the stamps on my passport.
Should I make copies of pages, bring rent bills, etc to prove continuous stay?

Yes, it's always a good idea to be prepared at interview with documents such as rental/lease agreements, utility bills, US bank accounts in instances where continuous residency might come into question.

I received a WR-821 saying that Decision cant be made until further review as I had been arrested over 5 years back and even though the case was dismissed, he wanted to review it further. Anyone had experiences like this?

It's common to receive decision can't be made for applicants with past convictions.

Hi everybody,

Yesterday I had my citizenship interview. I had my green card trough the 245-I appliying as computer technician, my Green card was granted in 2006, May and at that time I was working for my sponsor's Company and for a Biotech company. In the interview the agent start asking my a lot of questions about my past jobs, I didn't mentioned in my N-400 that I'm still working part time for my sponsor's company I just put my full time job which is in the Biotech field as Researcher. After all the questions she gave the test and I passed these, then she told me that a decision can't be made at this point becaouse she need more time to review my case and gave me this N-652 form. She said that a letter will be send to me in 1 - 2 weeks with any decision about my case.

Any advise about tyhis? Is some body experiencing the same? Please help.

IF you did not point out that you adjusted through 245(i), the interviewer was picking up on the red flag issues and will eventually learn that you adjusted via 245(i) and drop the suspicion. You have not indicated any other issues. Lastly, did you file at exactly 4 yrs and 9 months as an LPR? She may be checking the math.

Hi BigJoe5,

Thanks for your response!

Yes I filed my application exactly at 4 yrs and 9 months. One week passed all ready and no letter from them, I'm kind of scare that they will denies my application.

Any advice in what to do?

FYI

I also got a "decision can't be made". I had 10 trips all less than a month (longest was 29 days, shortest was 5 days with an average of 15 days). The officer told me that I had "a lot of international travel". This surprised me since none of the trips was long and I don't consider 2 trips per year "a lot" (in my opinion).

All tough I think the reason for the "decision can't be made" in my case was because I did not have the 5 years LPR presence. I was 9 days short. And this after almost 15 years in the US. The other thing that surprised me was the thickness of my file that the INS has - it is really thin, less than 20 pages and the officer was surprised when he saw my stack of documents (apx. 7 inches - all visa communication with my lawyer and the INS)
