May - Visa revalidation tracking for St.Louis

Thanks for replying guys. I did take a trip down to the local post office but they dont have anything for me. I hate USPS, No i did not note down the tracking number of the envelope as I wasnt aware that once could call them to ask about dates. But I filled out 2 recpts back to back. Therefore, I searched the USPS site for the numbers in the range of +- 100 but with no luck.
They dont update anything unless they attempte delivery.
I am planning to wait until Tuesday before terming it "Lost"
My DC recpt date was may9th if that helps. Also Someone said it could take 5 days to dispatch the passport how come ppl who got it stamped on April, 4th already got their passport.

DC R/D 14th May

I had called DC yesterday but couldn't get any useful info except for the DC date.

Welcome to the group Samsh.

The 'Gods' at the State Deptt just let me know that my pp's and those of my family have been 'Approved'. Apparently, the despatch department in that world takes a 'couple' to a few weeks to print and despatch. (They are probably still doing everything by hand!)

All, any idea how long before I get my passport?
Raj_raj_raj, have you got the pp yet, or, have you been able to track it?

Great News. I got my PP today , infact 15 mins back. I verified the date that it was sent and it was Aug, 8th?? Yesterday!!
I was told that my passport has left Monday Aug, 4th. So hang in there guys you will your's it might be late it will arrive.

Got PP today

Dear Friends,

I got my PP stamped today.

SL sent Date : May 7 th
SL recd Date : May 8 th
DC stamped : Aug 7 th
PP recd Date : Aug 8 th

Thanks for your info sharing with us.
Good luck guys. I am leaving for India on Aug 15th.

Please some one take care and follow up the consoildated statement.

A quick update. I just got off the phone with a visa specialist (note: she was friendly).

Anyways, she informed me that my SL Recd date is May 24 and DC received the pp on the 1st week of june. And currently it is taking about 14 weeks to process. Has anyone called DC who has a SL recd date around May 24th ?

My SL received date was Apr 30th.

But I have not received my passport yet.

I'm really getting worried a little bit. Are there anyone else in the same boat ?

Btw, what numbers did you guys use to call to find out the status ?
I would really really appreciate if you can share that number with me.

Was able to talk to a visa specialist Friday afternoon but of no use. She politely refused to divulge anything except that " You might get it by the end of this month ".

So waiting ...
