I have lost ALL faith in calling DC - I get a different answer everytime.

NO sign of my passport yet. I called on Friday and the lady said it hadn't been processed yet and told me to call back in 2 weeks which is a disgrace. I also enquired about the "return from" address on the pre-paid UPS shipping document as I followed the instructions on the website which only details the St Louis address. Obviously this is wrong as the passport would be shipped from DC NOT SL.....

The lady told me that it was not an issue but this is not consistent with what other people have been told.

Just called the DC office...found out about my DC RD.

I know I have a long way to go, but just to find out the process I asked her how much longer it'd take. The lady was courteous, but just told me that it is awaiting 'security clearance' and she could not tell me how much longer it would take.

Just talked to a visa specialist, my visa has been approved and according to her I should be getting my pp within a week's time

SL R/D -- May 9th
DC R/D -- May 14th

Can anyone tell me at what time Fedex generally picks up pp packages from DC office

Checking Cashier check status

Hi,
I have a small question, I brought the cashier's check from a local store, I sent it for revalidation, How can I chank the status of that(means whether they encahed the check or not)? Your advise will be appreciated.

I just called up DC...She asked me my Passport Number--Then told me I HAVE A GOOD NEWS FOR YOU -UR VISA IS APPROVED ON 11th AUGUST..U will get the passport in few DAYS..I didn't ask much...........

How do I find out any updates on my case like many of you are finding out ? What number should I call, and what information should I provide ?


What is the number in DC to call for receipt date in DC ?

PP Approved - Aug 7th

I found out today (Aug 12th) that my passport had actually been approved Aug 7th - when I called yesterday, I was told it hadn't been approved......
It is now waiting to be printed then put in the mail. I was advised this will take two weeks. Does that sound right?

Guys,

Yesterday morning I called to DC office. After waiting 30-35 mins,
lady told me that my visa got approved. They sent it for the printing. Hopefully I should get it in this week.

SL Sent: May 5
SL Rcvd: May 7
DC Date: Dont know
Approved: Aug 11
