Married 2 months before the Interview

Hi there

My wife won the Dvlottery 2011, and we've got married at December (it's two months before the scheduled interview), we've sent the DS-230 for the husband to KCC, and they replied us that the case is scheduled for an interview, without telling us the current status of my WIFE, Now she has recieved the 3rd NL for the interview date/time.

What i want to ask is (Can I go with her to the embassy, and we have every required documents, or the Husband must have documents like the [beneficiary documents]

Apart from proofs seriously go and rehearse some questions for the interview.Almost everything about her life and family.Likewise you too.I don't know which country you are from but if you are from any African country rehearse as far as sexual positions, side of bed you sleep, underwears, clothing, paint colour in your house. If you go for the interview and they reschedule you guys, then try to be together all the time especially at night because they may call both of you in the mid-night.Avoid trying to make a point by going to the interview in the same attire to proof to them you are husband and wife.

U are not allowed to go inn wit any hard copies or disk. Just print the Emails. The dates on ur E-mails cannot be altered, changed, or updated inrespective of the time and day u print it. As for the photos, just dont worry about dates on it. Just go with watever u av and let it be places like Beach, Eatries, Events, Shows, Familiy gathering Etc. Beloveth, go and get ur visa. It's urs already. Just av faith in God. They are humans and not Aliens. Just be confident. Best of luck!

bu3uuth, being a while you've not been updatingus on this forum as to ur interview, has ur wife gone 4 the interview
did u go with her
did kcc send u an invitation to come with her to the interview
how did u get the medicals done.
need to here from u bro all is well ur interview will be successful in jesus name.

Discussing which side of the bed and positions....haha, very funny, do you really think they are stupid!

They smell a scam marriage from far!

They probably want more proof and evidence of how long you know each other and not just proof by flapping your gums!

...............

Eh....to see who is 'S'...go look at the mirror!!

Anything goes bud, chk this..... (an FB-AoS case)

.............IO’s visit: Wifey is pretty naïve regarding the immigration process. She thought the IO’s were crazy when they asked to look around our bedroom. Leave alone going to our bedroom, my wife told them that it was unprofessional for them to pay us a visit without first making a courtesy phone call before hand.
I never bothered to discuss possible surprise visit with my wife since I was not expecting anything like it. If and when they return, they will be allowed to rummage through all my junk if they want to.
Were we prepared? No. I thought since our marriage is genuine, there was really nothing to worry about. This is where I went wrong. On hind sight, we were poorly prepared.
Previous marriages: Married three times within the past ten years.
First: I was married to a USC in 2000, but divorced after 3 months because she was too high maintenance. No AOS filed.
Second: Married to a non USC citizen in 2003. I have two boys with my second wife. She divorced me in 2007.
Third: Currently married to a USC. March, 2010.
AOS history:
In 2004, I filed for AOS as a religious worker. (Church Deacon). However, I had to abandon the AOS in 2005 because of funding cuts that resulted in the elimination of my paid position.

My interview last fall was pretty comprehensive. It lasted for 30 or 40 minutes. I was able to answer all questions. However, my wife stumbled on a few questions as I indicated in my initial posting.
We were interviewed separately and videotaped. IO was not happy that I have overstayed for over 10 years. At the end of the process, IO indicated that she approved my GC and that I should expect it in the mail in 2-3 wks.

..........
My wife is 37. I’m 36. We are both nurses, we both have two children each from previous relations and we both have a dark complexion.
During surprise visit, IO’s asked my wife if she knew that I own property. Wifey said yes, and explained to them that I helped my ex buy the house to help my boys gain access to great schools.
Looks messy!
Questions:
1. Should we expect a second visit?
2. Should we expect to be called for a second interview? Maybe stokes this time?
3. Was joint evidence presented adequate?
4. How do you see this playing out?
Needless to say, I’m a little stressed out about this whole thing, but then… (Huge understatement!)
Your thoughts…

For CP some posts have very comprehensive 'Fraud detection/prevention units' who may adopt such 'extreme' tactics and or questioning to weed out fraud. But that make honest ppl very 'uncomfortable' as well.

Bottom Line: Be prepared.

What do some ppl know!!

I have a question to ask on what steps should i take.

My girlfriend has won the DV lottery 2011

get married ASAP! Meanwhile, your GF should send a notification to the local US consulate iforming them about the change in marital status and she wants to include you into the case. She might wanna send email to the consulate first ever before registering your marriages. IMO, there is no other way than getting married ASAP and go for the interview together. Do not hesitate in anything if you are confident of your relationship with your GF. If you've been together for 4 years, you've got great chance of getting through this. Also, remember although the lower case numbers carry the best chance for the early visa approval, the high CN do not mean that you won't get it. Best of the luck! See below for a link about my own experience.
