new to this... what number do u call to track ur case .. i tried 1-800-375-5283 but ended up getting no where..

be careful. That lawyer who doensot know RN and ND is probably quite ignorant. See if you can pay your way and get another lawyer, working with your company and have the file transferred to them.

The AVM is automated and will not slow anything. It will tell you when it was received, and when approved, that info. However,, INS doesnot view you calling the officers in person kindly. They will make note of that one. But AVM is safe, I was checking it twice every day for a while and still got approved in good enough time.

my lawyer mailed me the receipt the next day after they got it, and I knwew the EAC right then.

but be cafeful with attitudesy lawyers like your company\'s. They work for the company, not you, so it\'s the company\'s wishes they worry about.
 
I 140 approved for Mar 5 ND

MY company dude told me that my I140 is approved, filed on Mar 5 2002.
Can anybody else verify this claim ? Also can anyone give an estimate how long it takes to get an interim EAD# after filing I485 ?.

After many many tries, it will saying something like
"You I-140 blah blah was recived on XXXX dates" ---this is the ND

Guys, need your help. How do I check the status using AVM? Tried (802) 527 4913 and it asked for 13 digit receipt number. I thought it would ask for the EAC number. How do I find out the receipt number? Or is this the correct phone number I am trying?

Your EAC# is your receipt number actually it is receipt number

Because it starts with EAC we all call it as EAC#. The correct one is the receipt number.
