I mailed the N-400 application on July 10th to the Nebraska service center instead of Pheonix lockbox. Concentrating on the other things to complete the application I missed the basic piece and sent to the wrong address.
Confused now whether to send a new application to lockbox or not?
Please help me. Planning to call service center tomorrow(monday) and see if i can ask them to ignore my application..
Experts, Please suggest me.

Thanks
JK

Ok. I will probably wait for a week and check.

It may take more than week, so I would give it some more time. The Service Centers have moved away from processing N-400s, but they may still be receiving a lot of them. There is probably now a standard process they are using for N-400s still being mailed to them, but it will likely take more than a week to get the N-400 to the NBC if that's what they are doing. Once it is at the NBC that's when it is opened and processed.

Called up USCIS and spoke to a Customer service representative and they told me that if the N400 is mailed to service center, they would return my application with the details of the correct address.

you have to wait until they retun packet to you. As per my talk with cust service, they must not have 2 apps for same case.

Did you send the application with any type of tracking available? If yes, you can check the status to see where the packet is.

Using tracking number, monitor the status of the application and wait until it reaches you or lockbox unit (if you are lucky). Most probably it would be sent to you.

Do not apply until its delivered. Submitting duplicate applications will be a problem and also you don't want to pay twice (if it has been cashed due to any reason).

Nebraska service center still accepts N-400 only for Military people --

so i think you package will be delivered to them and they will open it and check it and returned to you --
