LUD not changed after FP

All,

I had my wife's and my FP done in Jan. Its over 4 months and LUD on 485 has not changed. Is this normal?

I had my FP done two weeks ago and my LUD has not changed either. I called FBI and the lady told me that INS related FPs are processed the same day and the results are sent in teh same day. I haven't had a chance to call BCIS yet.
 
I have the same situation, had my FP (code 1 / 485), but there is no change in LUD, this is second FP with in 10 months

minn_labor, can you please post us if any changes in your LUD

for us also we gave the finger prints on 4/07/06. but there is no change in the status of 485. our 140 is also still pending.
what is the number to call to find out about the finger printing?

I got this off from one of the forums
I found their phone number somewhere in this forum and called this mornong. A very kind lady replied and I could find out about the FP status. The phone number is 1 304 625 2000. The operator will answer and transfer you to the automatic line where you will choose the "private individual ... fingerprinting" option. Then the FBI officer will pick up the phone and ask you for your visa number (beginning with Axxxxxxxx) and name and give you the answer. No hussle at all.

When I called, I was told that the result of INS FP's are sent the same day back. I wasn't given any info on my FP but was asked to call INS for further information.

our case too no lud

We (myself and my spouse) did code 1 FP yesterday. This is our second FP after 21 months of first FP. There is no LUD change of our 485 yesterday and today. Is it normal?

Have you both got your FBI name check clearance? Are your PD current?

My PD is not current. I do not know, whether our name check is cleared or not. I think there is no easy way to find it, particularly if PD is not current.

Don't worry your LUD will change. It just means that they are doing a FP review of your case. My last LUD change for FP took 3 months and my current status states: "FP review for your case has been completed and processing on your case has been resumed".

I have no idea what they do in FP review but would like to know if anyone has any details.

I just called FBI to know the status. They are so nice. They told me that my FP review was done on the same day and sent to USCIS. I do not know whats cooking at USCIS as there is no lud yet.

I was told that my FP were processed the same day by FBI not reviewed. I am not sure if processing and review are the same or different things.
 
I had my FP (code 3) done at 2:00PM on Friday 3/16/07.
LUD (I-485) changed at 9:00pm on 3/16/07 and again at 11:00am on Saturday, 3/17/07, there is no change in the status, does THE STATUS changes once a result is received from FBI.

I saw Someone in the forum mentioned that his current status states: "FP review for your case has been completed and processing on your case has been resumed".

2nd fingerprint on Friday afternoon-late. LUD change late at night. Now with the 1st fingerprint (4 months ago) we had no LUD change. Also one week ago FP for child and LUD change same day. No status change though.
 
Let me make sure I get this straight: Do most people believe that one is supposed to have an LUD change after getting fingerprinted? Or it could go either way with no real consequence?
We got fingerprinted yesterday (no LUD as of now) and we are moving to another state today (got the notice just in time before our move date). Should I hold back on updating my address for a day or two until there is an LUD? Any reason to worry about changing addresses so soon after FP in any other case? Thanks.
