RFE is about W-2 Form and tax returns . I have sent the tax return photocopies today 04/30/2002 as I had gone for a small vacation. Let us hope for the best.

Just the W-2

No , I had W-2 with me. I have been working on salary . I just get W-2 yearly from my employer.

actually I am talking about the 1099 that you get from your bank regarding the interest you earned for the year........did the lawyer ask you to submit that too along with the W-2....

my RFE is same

it says
please submit your last 2 years federal tax returns including any schedules, w2 and or 1099

I plan to respond in may firstweek

all the schedules means do we have to submit schedule-d also.
I have some stock transactions( Loss) for year 2001. about 100 transactions

did you all submitted Schedule D and D1 also

I think you are talking about 1099 INT /DIV (interest or dividend) .
I am not sure whether I need to send it. I can double check with my lawyer.
Many people do 1099 instead of working on Salary . 1099 is given by the client you work for. 1099 taxes are paid quarterly. In my case I have always worked on salary and I get W-2 Form yearly. I think INS is interested in seeing the Employer\'s name on 1099 or W-2 Form .

Did you check this matter with your lawyer. What does he /she says?

I confirmed with my lawyer. We need to send W-2 , copies of tax return along with schedules and also the 1099 from Banks or stock broker (like Ameritrade )Bank or broker (like Ameritrade) . I have already sent 1099 statements to the lawyer in morning.

Thanks for bringing up this question. Saved me some time. Otherwise lawyer would have asked me to submit these 1099s after 2-3 days.

I looked at most of the guys who got RFE related to employment letter/W-2/paystubs......most of them got approved with 15-20 days after the AVM changes to RFE response received.......

could you please throw more light on your case....in the sense what\'s happening...did you call up an IIO to check if everything\'s all right?.....

RFE question

I talked to the IIO today and they told me that a RFE will be isssued soon. But my AVM still says "Processing Resumed"?. did anyone had same behavior.

Any input will be appreciated.

My RFE is about employment letter/W2/PayStubs,
INS received my RFE response on 03/20s,
I called IIO early April, She said my case was with officer,
just wait couple of weeks...

I haven\'t heard any RFE approval for almost 3 weeks, Do you think
INS is doing some extra background check on all the RFEs ?
