My LC was filed from Maryland in Aug 2002, finally I got mine approved on 25. Last week one of my colleague was saying all LC's filed in 2002 will be cleared soon, looks like its true.

Don't have the details for 45 day letter, but when I applied for my 7th year extension in Feb 2006, my case number was starting with
"T-05166-xxxxx"

Looks like patience paid off...after almost 5 years, my case is certified. I am not sure this helped but I did write to senator in may first week, they in turn sent a letter to dept of labor which was cc'ed to me. Also called pbec directly and somebody on the phone asked me to fax the case details...I did it with a cover letter myself as my lawyer and employer refused to do so...

I received the much awaited email from my company's attorney today. I finally made it through the labor cert hell hole. Turns out the 6/6/06 date is actually lucky for me.....but I'm not sure how much, with the backups due to retrogression in full force.

Its now on to the next line.

I have a question. If someone has any additional info on it. By looking at previous posts, it looks like PBEC is approving more of other states as compared to Philadelphia cases. I am not sure if thats the case, but you look at the trend thats what i can derive out of it. They used to be the fastest amongs labor processing centers in past and employers preffered Pennsylvania over any other state(provided they had offices there and lots of them actually did) for filing labor. I am not really sure whats going on there. Is it just me or anyone else has noticed the same thing too, because i find it hard to believe that amongst flurry of approvals there are so less of people from Pennsylvania region. Saknia, Gurus .. please chip in with your comments.
