I feel like I am already dead..

However still a little hope on friday 15Th.

Everything is over for me here and now, and only on chance to overcome this voidness, this sadness, this "feeling like prefer to die rather than get up and continue". If not lucky, my life will be definitely over.

It has been a pleasure participating here some times, thank you all folks.

The DV Lottery is not all in life. U need help. Please, dont waste time and think about all the oportunities you have. Even if you never win the DV....

Guys, come on. You don't know his circumstances. It can be reeaaally frustrating, especially if he's been playing for years.
 
taking your own life for a dumb lottery... just got to the usa with a tourist visa & just stay there... as long as you do not commit crime, you are 100% safe, the immigration won't bother you

Sometimes there's no other option. Getting a tourist visa is not as easy as you think. One must show strong ties to home country. Jay, you're european, you don't even need a visa, so I assume this guy does. He doesn't stand a chance if there's no proof that he'll return. USA immigration policies are indeed harsh. Some 100 years ago, all their ancestors came over with nothing, no education, no money probably, and now it's all about money, "show us this, prove us that,and God forbid you stay"....Sad.

he is from spain, he doesn't need a visa niether... he dosen't know that he is 100% safe, there are cities i know (won't name how they are called) that refuse its policemen to track illegals... thoses cities protect illegals

Solution:

1) Marry an American female

But on a more serious note why think your life would be better if you move to the United States? There are way more important things to be more concerned about in life and besides there are other countries besides the states that are better in many ways. I see you live in Spain, isn't there any other country in Europe you might be interested in moving too? Have you tried looking into Canada or Australia? Both very similar countries in comparison to the United states and much more easier to emigrate to.
Sometimes I feel in my opinion that the United States is highly over rated with it dominating TV shows and movies showing the outside world all of life in the United States that it's luxury and glamour where everybody are living like the Kardashians and everybody has apple pie for desert. Well truth is it all isn't like that and there is some poverty here in the States and im sure if the TRUE view of the USA was shown to the rest of the world and not what you see on "reality american" TV shows then I'm sure immigration will shoot down by a bit.

But that's life, what you put into it you will get out of it. If your a hard worker and educated man then emigrating will not be a problem, however if you rely to much on a lottery though and not try to your full potential well then good luck.

But in conclusion it's just a country, what you put into your life you will get out of it. And repeat after me, "Hakuna Matata"

It means no worries for the rest of your days, it's a problem free philosophy. :cool:

ALright, then I don't understand him at all. Spain can't be THAT bad. Besides, the whole europe is available.

I live in Spain, but I am not Spanish, I have the resident permit, but I am originally from Morocco, anyone that knows Spain, knows how it is like being a Moroccan and living here...

I know what USA is like, I have travelled many times, I actually have B1/B2 visa valid until 2017, ....too many years put on this dream, ... my story is long and difficult, and I just do not want to bore everybody here..

I just wanted to share what I was feeling in a certain moment, sometimes when you do not have anyone to talk to, or to express your frustration, you just use the nearest way available, ..

Hang in there.. At least you're not stuck in some dump, having nothing to eat.. Look at it this way, there's always someone who would wish to be in your situation right now.

If you are not happy in Spain than go back to Marrocco...many people like it when they go there for vacation.

You think the US is the promised land...this is the land for people who want to work hard and can handle ups and downs not for people who can't handle not winning the lottery for 2 years in a row...some people are trying for over a decade.

So tell us what it is like to be Moroccan and living in Spain? Are you treated with contempt because people think you should go back to your own land and stop stealing jobs? Welcome to the USA. If you can't handle being a Moroccan in Spain, you certainly won't be able to handle being an immigrant in the USA.

The only immigrants that most Americans prefer are the ones who are highly qualified, have a lot of money to create jobs, or the cheap labor workers to do the shitty work that Americans don't want.

If you just want to come here and do the shitty work, many are doing that illegally anyway.

If you have lots of money or high qualifications, you can apply through work visa or invest here.

But if you just want a high paying average respectable jobs, they will want you to have US education, and US training/license and so on. Again, more money.

Its all about money.

USA is more vast, so the average is 9.2... I'm sure it is higher in some parts like in California or Detroit Michigan
 
unemployment is also 20% in the USA ..its just not official .government here lies a lot a bout true numbers
