if it is approved and signed by Bush, lucky for those who applied for labor application before Aug 15 last year are eligible, but I am also happy that there will be no more clogging of labor applications at SESA in future as it happened in Apr 30 2001 deadline due to 245(i) F##k$#G law..

I read the news post but could not clearly understand it.Does it mean that all of us who have our PDs after Aug 15th 2001 are f***ed.....and are looking at another April 30th where SESA would be sitting for months!

I also asked how long it would take to get to my priority date, which is Oct.1st; they gave me an estimate of about 5 months. Which would bring SESA processing time to ~10.5-11 months. Right now, this looks like an optimistic case.
 
Add DOL Delay too

And add the DOL delay( currently 5 months.. might expand to 7-8) to the 10-11 SESA and you get a Labor time frame of 17-18 months !!

Man, this really is the limit.. and that too in RIR and if your case goes through in the smoothest way without any RFEs.....

What more can we say?
 
hey guys really need info on this...

my company finally agreed on applying for my GC after much ado since i have only 9 months left. They have decided to file LC substitution but have a clause saying i cannot opt for CP . Do you know why they are doing this is it a law for not able to opt for CP if there is LC substituion or is it only my company doing this to make it more dreadful for me.
Any information would be really helpful.
