I also sent the pp to St Loius on 6/25 and still waiting. QUESTION is whenever I call they refuse to tell me any status like DC receivied data. How you came to know of Aug 7 as your DC received data. Did they take your PP number , DOB and told you after checking?

The lady took my passport number and gave me the info. I guess it depends on who picks up the phone, like someone has mentioned on this forum.

Good News

First of all I want to thank the forum members who really helped me a lot and gave me a lot of information.
By the grace of GOD, yesterday morning in FEDEX I saw that our PP have been picked up, at around 2pm the passports came to my home and my wife received them.
Everything looks good.
My details

Sent to St Loius – June 25
Check encashed – July 7
Visa issued – Aug 13
Fedex pickup – Aug 17
PP rcvd – Aug 18

Only one issue I have my notice of action end data was Feb 13 2005. But the visa was issued till Feb 23. I think this is not an issue. Any comments.

Received mine yesterday. The visa had a black and white photo on it. Looked like a photo copy machine used to put the picture on the visa. The govt. seems to be on a tight budget.

thanks to all the members of this portal . I have been a silent reader without any updates so far .
I sent my passport for revalidation on 29th june .
Recieved it finally this thurday ..18th august .
unfortunately my name was misspelt and i have sent it back to them today
They promise a 5 day turn around ..lets see

certainly the photos are a cause for concern ..they are dark and the comment by somebody on the portal about using a copier for it sounds correct .

i will keep you guys posted . my wifes passport was sent on 7th july and we are awaiting its return .

H1 Revalidation - June

Hi,

Did anyone recieve H1 Revalidation approval with their DC recieved date as 08/03/04?? MY case - Sent to St.Louis on June 29th(06/29/04)..Recieved by St. Louis on June 30th(06/30/04). I guess DC reciept date as 08/03/04 ( as I got that date when I called 202-663-1225 )...So any approvals from that date?

Getting Worried

So here are my dates:
Fedex sent : 6/26
FedEX recvd: 6/28
DD Cashed : 7/7
No news after that.I tried calling up three times today but no luck.The lady (ies) kept on repeating,"Sir,we do not give any status information.We are taking 10-12 weeks or 12-14 weeks for revalidation.You will come to know when you get the passport.".I requested repeatdly that I dont want to know when you will send back the passport but just want to know if you recvd it okay and when did you recv it.No budge...Im really pi**ed coz I am in the middle of changing my Job and I am not sure if my new employer would file for transfer with me not having the passport and I dont want to delay the job switch...
please let me know if you have any experience in this matter of visa transfer and also is anyone else there who has the same dates and has not recvd any notification...
