LUD and NC

Hi All,

I field 485 for me and wife on Jun 6th 07 (details in signature) but i have not seen any LUD for both of us after the FP appointment dates immidiately following the 485 filing. Does this mean my case has not been sent to NameCheck yet? I saw some posts where users related their LUDs to NC clearing.
Does this mean that my case was received but NC is nto even intiiated yet because the dates are not current?
I woudl really aprpeciate any feedback. Thanks
 
Has USCIS started issuing RFE for medical for June 07 filers?

Hi Everybody

Just recd CRIS notification on RFE for 485 application for me and my wife. Still I DO NOT have details in the hand but thought of posting this to check whether anyone else has received Medical related RFEs. The reason being my medical was done around May 18 2007 (almost a year before) and I have received RFEs for me and my wife. Since RFEs are for both the applicants and it's been almost a year since medical is done, this appears to me more like medical related RFEs.

Any info regarding this is highly appreciated.

Urgent: Need help RFE on birth certificate without name

Gurus

I received RFE from USCIS with respect to my wife's birth certificate. The birth certificate has details about birth date, city, name of parents except my wife's name since she was not named at the time of registration.

While filing I-485, we submitted affidavits from her father and mother done in India but I guess the mistake we (myself and attorney) did was in stead of sending original affidavits we filed photo copies :(

Now the RFE states that we have to provide oldest possible evidence to establish my wife's parentage. Unfortunately both my parents and in-laws are visiting US so we do not have anyone back in India to contact people and get things done.

Thus in the response I am planning to
(1) send back the original affidavits done in 2001 in India by her parents
(2) my wife's certificate for 10th and 12th which shows only her father's name but I don't have anything which shows her mother's name
(3) New affidavits in US which we'll make this week.

Attorney is not too happy with this but he is telling that since you have to respond by June 13 we can try this approach. Any guidelines?

In your case, I dont think filing original affidavit will solve the problem. Even i did submit a photocopy.

Its going to be really tricky, because as your wife name was not to be found in the birth certificate. Are you saying, you dont have a birth cerificate with your wife name??

Sorry.....I dont have an definite answer.. I am also checking....will post here if i found anything...

RE: More on RFE query

The birth certificate shows my wife's birth place, date of birth, father's name and mother's name. In the name of child birth certificate shows: "NAME NOT REGISTERED"

RFE states: provide oldest possible evidence (school registration, medical records, hospital records) establishing my wife's parentage

I am planning to submit
(1) Earlier affidavit executed in India
(2) New affidavit executed in US since my in laws are in US
(3) My wife's school certificates (10th and 12th) showing her father's name. Her Indian driving license still valid also has her father's first name.

Due to partriarchy nowhere I am able to find a document which shows my wife's name along with her mother's name :(

Checking for old ration card if my in-laws can figure out where it is kept in their home in India while being in US !
