Here are all the dates,

SL: 6/26
visa stamp: 9/25
pp received: 9/29 (with error) -- UPS 2nd day air

DC received for correction: 9/30
visa approved: 10/6
visa stamp: 10/14
UPS pickup: 10/16
pp received: 10/17 -- UPS next day air

The dept. of state website said for correction "the turnarround is 5 working days", actually it took 11 working days, excluding 9/30 and today.

Is there any update

Is there any update on H1/H4 revalidation on or after 30th July 2003 DC date

A friend whose SL date was July 23rd called up the DC office, they told him that his app was received in DC on Aug 26th, and it will take 12 to 14 weeks from the Aug 26th date. Looks like we are all in for long wait.

I called Dc office today the lady told they are processing 1st week of august applications.

PP date: 20 Oct

They returned my passport without approving or rejecting visa. They had lack of info regarding my application, I need to apply from an overseas country or home country-Bangladesh.I won't be able to attend my sister's wedding and my wedding has been postponed. Life suxxx.......... This thread is great !! Good luck to all.

My SL RD is 21st July.I called up DC # and she refused to give me any info.Is it true that my SL RD(21st July) means my DC RD is around 25th Aug?

Kindly let me know if anyone has info on this RD.

I called DC office today and here is what I got:

DC Received Date : Aug 25, 2003

It will take 10 to 12 weeks from the DC received date for the visa to be issued and they are currently processing Aug 3, 2003.

Are you sure that your SL date was Jul 29th? There is no update from Jul 21 and the DC dates from July 24th is somewhere in Aug. end? How come ur PP moved up the priority ?

There is a big mystery for PP's sent to SL after July 24th.
Mine was received on July 29 in SL. They told me it was received in DC on Aug 8th. Now they are telling me that it was received on Aug 25th !!!!.
So if you see something strange happening, don't be surprised.

my DC date is Aug 27th. I am planning to with draw my application. The lady there said even withdrawal takes 2-3 weeks!! I am leaving to India late Nov. So got to send the withdrawal request right now.

I am leaving on Nov 25th night. Looks like there si no way we will get these done by that time. More importantly even withdrawal is taking time,
