January/February/March 2004 - Filers

First you do the Finger Prints. Then they are sent to the FBI. They check them as well as you name (s) and send the results to USCIS ("cleared")

I am starting this thread to track the status of I-485/I140 filers for January/February/March 2004.

It looks like we got cought in the transition where some of us will be processed the old fashion way and others through the new process.

I filed on late January (concurrently) and do not have I140 approval yet. However, I got my Fingerprints done this week. No changes of status are seen online in either application form.

Any similar cases? Please enter your input

Hi,
Here is my info. Applied at VSC. Waiting for AP.

Bobbli_Puli,
Please don't take it otherwise, but since you applied in VSC it would be better if you post and track your case in the Vermont forum. This forum is only for Nebraska, and in anyway tracking your case in this forum will neither help you nor the other forum members.

Experts pls help

Experts Pls help

Just got message from my Lawyer about getting RFE for I-140. Here are my details

EB3/RIR/CP
ND I-140 : 5/12/04
RFE : 6/18/04 : Company’s Ability to Pay.

I have a doubt about this:
I work as an Engineer for a Big International Automotive Group based in Europe having Engineering Centre also in US (the petitioner) Our Plant is in Mexico who sells the Auto parts to Big 3. Now my Problem is that technically , theres no earning for this Company as its like ‘Engineering Service Provider” to the Plant, though it’s the same company. Due to this reason the profits shown in the 2001 Tax return (when my Labor was filed) is lower than my Prevailing Salary cos technically we don’t sell anything.

Can you guys suggest what is the exact requirements or any other way we can show the Company’s Ability to pay? Anyone with similar kind of Operating Company , please help.

Thanks

Here is my Info

Hey Guys,
This is good thread. Following are my details:

EB3 Concurrent
Labor approved 2 December 2003
I-140 RD March 1, 2004 ND March 2, 2004
EAD RD March 22, 2004 ND April 28, 2004
AP Date Issued June 1, 2004
FP: Not Yet
Online Status: None :(
:)

Besides my W2 and my paystubs, what other proof do I need to submit showing the company's ability to pay?

Please let me know.

Thanks,

Shah,

In addition to W2 and your payslips, you have to give your company's financial documents to prove their ability to pay.
There are 3 kinds of documents you can give them. You need to give only one among this 3.
Check on this website or USCIS website for
the document names.
I know 2 of them
1. Tax returns of the company for the last 2 years
2. Audited Financial statement for the company.
3. ???

UCSIS Announcement on Backlog Reduction

Did you guys read the announcement made on 6-17-04 regarding backlog reduction? This is what is at UCSIS Website:

"U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is streamlining the way immigration benefits are delivered. By working smarter and eliminating redundancies, USCIS is bringing a business model to government. We will eliminate the backlog and, at the same time, enhance national security. USCIS will deliver the right benefit to the right person in the right amount of time, while ensuring that the wrong individual does not access immigration benefits. It is this fundamental mission that guides USCIS as it faces the challenges associated with eliminating the backlog. Read more about Backlog Elimination, and the work of USCIS"

I know this is just words and it does not translate to actions yet... but you can read the whole thing at the following link:

this news has been in the forum for a while infact there is a seperate thread for it.

140-485 approvals after ohata-- FP Process

The only thing that the new Finger Printing process is showing is that they are changing some ways to do things. We do not know if this is positive or not from a final result perspective.

1) Do we have any 140 approvals for concurrent with RD affected by Ohata memo?

2) Do we have any concurrent approvals of 140 and 485 at NCS?

As long as we do not see these coming, the future still is very uncertain...

Case Details
==========

140 and 485 applied concurrently 15 march 2004

EAD and Finger printing done in May 2004

140 status reads " will approve in around 150 days"

Finger printing status made USCIS case status changed to " Now processing after FP....etc"

Questions
=========

1. Will my application be picked up by Fuji ohato memo
2. Has any one who applied during the same time concurrently got approval ?
3. What is the scene with respect to AC21
4. USCIS currently show processing 05/12/2004
Does this mean
1. They have completed applications from jan , feb march, april ?
or Do they pick and choose applications for this Fuji ohato memo
2. Why has my case status not updated even though the processing time has updated
3. Is there a way to find out whether my application was picked up by the Fuji ohato memo ?
