I called Chennai yesterday.

Same answer, "call after 10 days, your petition not received". She did not allow me to talk to any one higher up. She said her job is to just check the computer and answer the question.

Write to her that at the post, your e-mails are not handled by the right person who can understand the complicacies of our case. We did try suggesting this and we get a routine answer of AC-140 not allowed etc. as if we are asking this for a normal case.

Surprisingly Ms Walker did not respond to me, I later realised that I had missed typing subject and that could be the reason.

I wrote exactly that (from your previous post). I got another reply from her.

Ms. Walker said: "We are trying to work on the issue today."

Let us hope something good will come out of this.
 
AC140 info to walker

I forwarded mails which I got from chennai regarding AC-140 and AC-140 info at FAQ in chennai website to Ms Walker.
 
how to get NVC tracking number

I called up NVC today to get the tracking number for my packet which was sent on 10/15. She said I dont need it and asked me to call back after 10 days if I still need to get the tracking number.
I also requested her to put a trace on my case. she said she cannot do that. she said I need to wait for 2-12 weeks. 12 weeks means Jan 15. But by Jan 15th they finalize the Feb list.
Is the tracking number for all those cases which were sent on 10/15 ?. Can anybody tell me how they got their tracking number from NVC?

I have been following this discussion and I feel sorry for guys trapped in this. Hope Ms Walker can help pull-off a compromise.

A Question: My P3 was generated on Nov 13 (the date on the letter accompanying the forms) and I mailed the filled-in P3 to Chennai on Nov 29. Expecting a feb interview.

Is there a chance that my files from NVC to Chennai could have also got locked-up in quarrantined mails?

Have you called NVC yet regarding this email? I am not sure if they will cable the petition on our request. We have to convince Chennai to make the request to NVC. What do you think guys?
 
Just sent an email to Chennai....

NVC will not resend based on our request. Request should come from Chennai. Emailed Chennai telling them this. Let\'s see how they respond.......

I am in the same boat. My papers were sent on 10/15 from NVC and never reached Chennai due to all the known problems.
