FP ahead of schedule

Hi Jerry11

All INS service centers are different. Also it depends on the mood of the people there, and how busy they are. We got it done at Hackensack. I am not sure whether they accept everyone who comes early.

You can take a chance if you want. But tell them that you are early - don't wait for them to point it out to you - the person there might get offended that you tried to sneak in early.

i am new to this forum. just wanted to let know abt our status.

I140/485/EAD
MD 01/06/03

we did get some receipts but its with the HR, will receive maybe in a week or so.
yesterday in the mail we received FP notices for us.

FP ND 02/20/2003
scheduled for 03/27/03

how to check my status online?? could anyone pl help...

You can go to the online status page on INS website and enter your EAC number which you will find on the receipt notices that you have received.

FP notice

I have received FP notices for my wife and me by mail yesterday.

It say,
ND for FP : 2/20/2003
PD for I485 : 1/28/2003 (It is received date)
ND scheduled date and time : 3/25/2003 at 11:00 AM

I have to go Boston INS on that day.
Could you give me the information for Boston INS such as parking and room# like that?

i didnt get any receipts yet except for the letter regarding schedule of FP. the application number on that is 13 character one but it doesnt work. maybe i am trying with the wrong number.

The number should start with EAC. I think that doesn't appear on the FP notice. You'll have to read it from the I-140/485/765 receipt notices to get status info about each of them. The FP status appears using the I-485 EAC number.

Yes abc12321!

You have to enter your EAC number (receipt notice number) from Your I-485 receipt notice. If any FP notice is mailed to you, the status will mention that a notice has been mailed to you.

You may try to park - but not the best option. Take green line to fleet center and it is just a short walk from there. It is just off the causeway street.

Get down in North station and once you out of the station you will see PortLand st and when you enter the st. you will find INS office very easily( Its very small st). Once Boston office entertain FP's on any day and need not be scheduled date. I went on one saturday evening at 3O'clock and I am done in 15 min ( with all paper work etc). The INS people told mornings are normally busy hours. Hope this helps.

Online status did not change. Does the online status changes ??

Finger Print Notice date: 2/21/2003
Finger Print Notice Received: 2/28/2003
Finger print scheduled date: 3/27/2003
Finger Prints completed: 3/1/2003

However, on line status has not changed.
 
Received notices for FP

Concurrently filed I140 / I485 at VSC.

Today, I received FP notices for me and my wife.

FP Appt: March 18' 2003
RD: Jan 23' 2003
ND: Feb 25' 2003

The application number on the FP notice which I received starts with FP*...., there is another number, it is called INS A# ....I am guessing EAC numbers are something different and are the actual receipt notice(s).

Do we receive the Receipt Notices (EAC...numbers) for I140/ I485/ EAD / AP directly, or does it go to the attorney ? Can someone shed some light on this ? Thanks.
