Hey everyone


I called up to check the case status by phone. It said it received my fingerprints and the processing has resumed on the case. but it did not change on the online case status system. it's been 2 days since it should have been updated.

Guys check on the phone system rather then the online system. It's more accurate.

thanks for input. Please insert your data by the order of MD and keep the file name (Jan03_tracker.xls) consistent so others who have used before won't be confused.
 
Phone status update

Hi All,

Based on your advise, I did check status of my and my wife's EAD and it says that "After approving on March 26th 2003, we ordered you a new card......"!

Receiving EAD Card

Hi all,

My wife and I have received EAD cards today.
Its valid from 03/18/03 to 03/17/03 while my H1 will be expired on April 30th 2003. My daughter and I still have not received AP authorization letter. Updated Excel file is attached.

RFE for EAD/AP

hi,
i just checked my status and found out that on 26th march they have sent me a letter for extra evidence for my EAD and AP. havent yet got the letter and dont know what it may be regarding. just wanted to know whether anyone has faced RFE for EAD/AP.
As regards I485 the message says they received our FP on 26th March and process has resumed.
 
received EAD card by mail today

I received the EAD card today. My wife's also came in mail.

Just updated the xls file. I also included GKVBC and muppneni's data in it. For the rest of you, please update the file once you have any updates. Thanks.
 
Phone system tells my 765 / 131 are approved

Guys - Thanks for posting the message to check the phone system. It says that 765 & 131 are approved as of 3/27.

My wife's EAD is NOT approved yet :( , I was hoping hers get approved first ....if wishes were horses.

Shall update the excel file once I receive the approval notice(s).
 
Received EAD for me and my Wife on Friday. EAD Approved Date
03/21/2003. Updated the spread sheet.

my rd for concurrent filing id 12/09/2002

i have received the EAD and AP for both me and my spouse. we also completed FP.

i called the IIO at VSC about my case , 485 status not updated even after finger printing completed since 01/30.

the answer is DON'T WORRY. the reason being even if you have it updated it does not matter because we will pretty much have to do it again becuase these results would be void in a year and there is no chance of our 485's being completed in a year.

so guys take it easy and hope your 140's are done so u can use portability if you need just in case.

This came to me as a surprise when I was told by the HR in my company that she has received something from INS and it's good news.

Wanted the EAD to be approved first... but got 140. Oh well, I'm happy that atleast something is moving in the case.

I've updated the xls file.

FP Completed: 3/28/03

Still awaiting EAD and I-140. :(

Also, I filed AP only a week ago and need to go to India end of MAy. Do you think we have a chance?

usually it takes about 2 months to get it. Many people wait for longer. So I will say you may have 50% chance. Good luck.
 
How Long Between Receving 140 and 485 Receipts

Hi,

My wife and I filed I-140 and I-485 concurrently on 02/06/2003 (MD and RD). I received a copy of 140 receipt from the lawyer in early March with ND 03/01/2003, but we have not received any of the 485 (EAD/AP/etc) receipt yet. I wonder if anyone could let me know your experience on how long it would take between receiving 140 and 485 receipt.

My husband and I got all our receipts together for our concurrent filed application. Ask your lawyer to talk to BCIS Vermont to check if they have received all the forms.
