is it possible that they run out of visas before they finish interviews?????? my CN is 28xxx (asia) 2high :(
 
Are you in 2009 or in 2010 ?

Since by this time all the nos became current for the year 2009
 
I don't think so. See the following chart . For the past five years asian winners were lucky and every one got a chance

Just make sure all your papers are ready and nothing is missing at the time of your interview. If the dates will be similar you will have a chance, but your time is limited if errors show up, so double check and Good Luck!

Yes. But if your interview is scheduled, most likely you have a visa number already. If you do not reschedule your interview, you keep the visa number anyway. And you will get a visa (unless you are denied on an unrelated ground) even if there are no visa numbers available.
