phone no for IOWA labor

Is there any phone no where u can call and get the status of ur labor?
 
My Lawyer called yesterday and said that he got a mail from Iowa state saying that my case was moved to Chicago.

Filed for labor: 06/09/03
state cleared approx: 06/../03 (still waiting for mail from my lawyer)
Waiting for federal....

Plz keep updating here...

Mine was in june'03. hoping to get it soon as chicago is processing may'03.

Hi All,
My Lawyer has sent the labor Documents to IOWA state office last week (RIR case). How can I check IOWA State received my application and the status of the application without asking Lawyer?

My lawer got a letter from IOWA state office dated the same date as my application reached Iowa office thru Fedex.

So thats how i got the info. but i there is a Email address where u can mail with no subject but ur employer phno in the body of the mail.

filed 5/25 reached
cleared state and reached chicago dol at end of june

so its little over a month before it clears state.

hope to get federal approval by early or mid september


Akshar, lcstatus has been down since sometime.. we need to find and alternative. there should be a phone number or something where you can get automated status??

John McDonald, Alien Labor Certification specialist
phone # (515) 281-9336
E-mail : John.McDonald@iwd.state.ia.us

I think either employer or lawyer has to contact him. I don't know whether anyone contact him directly.

You are correct Employer or Lawyer needs to contact them.. they will not give status information to you.

but is it the right thing to contact IOWA, since the case has already moved to Chicago.

Lets hope for lcstatus email to come back online.. There is another phone number for chicago that I got hold of.. I will not be able to call during the day but if any of you can please let me know the response..

Hi guys,

I think we r the only 3 ppl from Iowa who applied !!!!

Even my mail to LCstate email was bounced, may bne somehting is wrong.

Laughingbuddha, My case was sent to chicago federal on june 9th, dont know exactly if thats the date it reached there, but sometime that week it went to federal.

Lets hope it moves faster. i think i saw few may15th approvals in the chicago threads.
