Got married April 2005 to USC. We filled in July 2006. Received notice for interview for 16 October. Unfortunately the weekend before the interview we received news that my wife's mother was gravely ill. We had to reschudel the interview while she went to see her in Canada. The interview was reshudeled for two weeks later. Sadly my wife's mother passed away before the interview. She could not make it for the interview due to grief and funeral arrangement so we reschedueld again.Since then we have had some problems in the marraige and we are not talking. We have the interview for this week . Should I a) see if I can reschudle it for the 3rd time without getting denied, b) redraw the application while we patch things up with my wife and refile, c) interview without her (which I know is sucidal) d) any other option ? PLs help just have a few hours to decide.

Your wife is grieving (as you know). This is a time of difficulty. I am sorry to hear that she lost her mother. Also, this immigration process is cruel. It alone is too much. Be confident that your wife will be revived. Is she willing to go to the interview? If not, then it may be best to withdraw and refile later, much later.

Ask your question on this website to get the legal answer, maybe in this type of situation something can be done. I hope so and don't lose heart. We support you in this. God Bless :)
