I485 rfe Nebraska

Hi alittlemore,

I have seen updated after my RFE response. That was on Oct 24th. The status message shows that " we have received your response...." This LUD was yesterday and nothing happened with the status message.

RFE copy of ID

Has any of you guys got a RFE requiring copy of governement issued ID (eg driver license)?
I was wondering if that has to do with name check.

RFE on 485 Dec 2004 (Birth Cerificate, Status from Feb 2000 to Oct 2001)
responded to RFE on Jan5 2005 (Sent all the I20s and H1 papers)

PERM filing date september 2006
PERM AD - September 2006 (Within two weeks)
I140 ND - October 19, 2006 at CSC
I140 AD - October 25, 2006
RFE on 485 Nov 9, 2006 (EVL, G325)
Would be submitting the response by the end of this week.

Got RFE on 3rd October'06 for 485 of my and family members. That was on Additional evidence on birth and some of my personal data regarding Status.
All had been taken care of and USCIS nebraska received them on November 9.
Since then we had LUDs on our cases on 10,11,13,14,16 , almost like every day. Experts on the forum, do you have any idea or experience what they might indicate? Just a piece of mind. I thank you for sharing.

Judging by your file date, and who got approved recently, the many LUDs might mean a soon approval. I really wish you that. Good luck!

We are in the same boat.

The RFE was sent back to USCIS 60 days ago and there has been no decision on our case.

Is there anything we should be doing (such as phoning USCIS) or is it best just to let the process take its course?

We are new to this forum, but find the information ver useful.

Any advice would be appreciated.

New LUD

I just got this message from a RFE I repplied to:

On November 14, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case is at our NEBRASKA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates.


Is this a good sign?
Any expereience with a similar message before getting approval?

I just got another LUD. The message hasn't changed.

Any expereience with a similar pattern before getting approval?

Looks like Thanksgiving holidays are over for Nebraska. Good sign. You should see the light soon, may be in a day or two. Wish all luck.
For my case, it is still pending since Nov17, the LUD.

Hello All

I noticed that allof Ur quite active in the Forum . A question- Once I receive a RFE, request for Evidence or additional Docs, How Many days I have to answer?

And when the Date count starts ? from the Notice date ? Email Says RFE sent on Dec 06, But didnt receive that to Lawyer Office as of 12/09.

Please Help..

Normally it's 60 days from the day of notice. Don't worry about it yet. It's only 2 business days (12/7 and 12/8) since it was sent. It can take 4 to 5 buesiness days to deliver depending on how far away your lawyer is from USCIS. Remember, USCIS uses only first class mails; no priority or express.

Is the RFE notice sent to the applicant or the lawyer? Is there any way of calling and finding out what it is about?
 
The RFE goes only to your lawyer. And no, there is no way to know what it is before actually receiving it. The call center won't tell you the content and I honestly don't think they even know what it is.
 
I've got several RFE during this waiting; it was either updated letter from the employer, or fingerprints, or I-94, or pictures.. The oddest thing is that I've got RFE NOW, when I applied for the 3rd Employment authorization renewal.. the RFE always arrived tomy lawyer and he contacted me. Now he was pretty frustrated with the RFE for the Employment authorization. He believes that NSC is dragging their feet, requesting evidence to find reasons to delay the process of issuing the EAD within 90 days, as the regulations says. Who knows what they're up to next?? :confused:
