Today received email from my attorney that they have received papers in postal mail about my I-140 Labor Sub. approval.

Meaning it takes approximately a week to receive papers after email notification.

Also, received email from USCIS that my EAD and Application Type: I131 , APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT are approved for me and my wife.

Congratulations on your 140 approval. I was wondering why you didn't file your 485 along with your 140. YOu could have got that approved too or atleast been eligible to invoke AC21. Anyway, its never too late. File it right away. Good Luck.
 
I-140 and EAD approved. ND 11/30/04

Sent I-140 RFE response on Mar 16th 05, Received by CIS on 3/21/05. EAD got approved for myself and spouse on 3/25/05 and I-140 approved on 3/28/05.

My biggest concern was about Form DE 6 (quarterly wage report). EDD Quarterly wage report which was to be obtained by EDD in a sealed envelope, was received in 4-5 weeks time period (Some one in EDD had told my HR manager that it takes 6 weeks and are issued based on the RFE date). Quite hazitantly I had sent educational documents in ORIGINAL.

Do not know what is PD on I-140 Approval notice.

Ok guys, I checked my I-140 approval notice and Priority date is PD of substitute labor. So there is no need to worry :-)

Just received copy of my I-140 approval notice and it has PD of the original labor. great relief :) This is a substitute LC case.

Can you let us know if your 140 wasfiled with original labor cert or a COPY of the labor?

What was the RFE about ? Please see my signature. I have an RFE too. But norreceived the RFE in snail mail. So dont know.Please share ur RFE and how you overcame it.

FP notice not received yet

Guys,
my I140 was filed on 12/02/2004 and I485/I765/I131 on 03/11/2005.
my I140/I765 approved, received AP. Yet to receive FP notices. Is anyone in a similar situation like me?.

Finally!!! I-140 approved after 2 years!

Got a message from the attorney that my I-140 has been approved. It had been a loooong wait...nearly 2 years. My case is a LC sub. filed with the copy of the labor. Attorney kept inquiring with CSC for more than 8 months now but always got a response back saying that they were still waiting for the "original file". An RFE was finally issued in April but lawyer will not reveal the RFE details. After the RFE response the approval was within a week's time. Also, got the EAD & AP approvals immediately after the I140 approval. EAD & AP were put on hold because of the I-140 issue.

Below are my details.

I-140 RD: 06/23/03
RFE Issued: 04/08/05
RFE Responded: 05/16/05
RFE Response recvd.: 05/20/05
AD: 05/25/2005

Thanks to this forum for all the help. Moving on to the I-485 thread...
 
Good News regarding my 140

:)

I was busy for a while and not checking the forum recently. Would like to share some good news with dear members of the forum. I got a e-mail notification, this weekend -- My 140 is approved. Its a big relief. No news about the 485 and I am not worried much at this point.

Mine is EB3 - Substitue labour (Priority date of Jan 2002)-- Filed in First week of Aug /2004 - Pure Concurrent. RFE in March 1st week-05 ( Paystubs / W2/ Exp letter etc., ). Replied to RFE is March End -05. Sent an status enuiry on June 8 Th. and Case is approved on June 17th. I guess enquiry worked in my case.

Help with LC substitution

Hello Gurus,

My friends company has a labor which requires Bacelors degree with 5 years experience, the labour was filed in May-2001 and approved in AUG-2004.
he has Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience to date. Can he show his experience after May-2001 and use the labor.

I think it's possible to use experience gained in current job. The job position in sub labor has to be different than your current job. I would suggest you contact good lawyer and seek advice.

Guys,

I am going to file I-140 with Sub. labor. What would be my priority date in that case ? Will I be able to use PD of Sub labor ?
