I140 Transfer from CSC to TSC

RD = Received Date (date when your application was received by USCIS)
ND = Notice Date (date on the notice)
AD = Adjucated(Approved) Date
LUD = Last Update Date (last posted date on a USCIS.gov when your case was touched)

And you forgot
PD = Priority Date (date you established with the start of your process, used for visa availability)

RD and ND are usually few days apart.
LUD can be obtained by creating an account on USCIS.gov and adding your cases.
PD is very important for countries with not current state in visa bulletin. Only when your PD is current you can submit i485. For EB3 all countries are in retrogressed state.

Today june 29, RFE is the mail. I know it might not go well, but FINALLY it s time to know if i can stay in this crazy country or not. (oh and by the way i got the 6/24 LUD non-update too...)

EB3, waiting for PD to get current.

Good news email came while I was away for the 4th July long weekend!!

Many thanks to all the members here who have been posting encouraging words. And a special thanks to Talkative and his excellent scanner, as well as all who have maintained it, which enabled me to see that I was not the only one in my date range to be waiting.

To all who are still waiting in this frustrating process, many for several years: please have Faith. Your case will be approved!

Buddy, my lawyer sent a letter to TSC on 6/16 and no response at all. The house reps. office is helping me to get info, basically it is not good enough, either. The senator's office is worse.

Thanks! The movement is frustratingly slow. Only 2 approvals during the last week, both apparently RFE cases getting approved. Have patience, yours will come too, and the 485 approval with it! There are a total of 19 cases pending now in 044, including the 12 RFEs.

Wrong PD

I have two priority dates, one from my previous employer's I-140 approval notice (11/2000) and one with my current employer Labor Certificate (07/2002), when my current employer filed I-140 on 08/2005, he requested USCIS to capture the earlier priorty date 11/2000 using a copy of the I-140 approval notice. but when i received the I-140 approval notice for the current employer, it doesn't have my earlier Priorty date. instead it shows 07/2002.

My current lawyer says, the I-140 shows the correct PD. he says if they recapture, it won't show in the I-140 approval notice but it will be in my I-485 application file. Is it correct? if not, how can i correct this, is it easy procedure?

I suppose ND above is 11/29/05. I looked at other approval patterns and want to ask you folks if its safe to assume that CA 140s take about 8 months to get approval? Does the state matter at all now that all applications go to Nebraska? Also what milestones are represented by LUD above? I see a long list of LUD dates and want to know how to comprehend that. For example, is there any lesson to be learned?
