EB2-RIR (or non-RIR); Concurrent 140/485/765/131 (list all the forms that you may have send in); MD (mailing date) 09/11/02; ND (notification date) 09/21/02; I-765 (employment authorization document-EAD) approved 09/30/02; I-131 (Advanced Parole)approved 09/30/02; I-140 waiting; FP (finger printing) 10/15/02; I-485 waiting

Thus the abbreviated form of this info would look as follows:

Guys,
I was regular member in MA SESA forum as I was waiting for filing 140/485 I couldn't post any messages on 140 forms. My details are

Mail Date - 09/05/02
Receipt Date - 09/09/02
Notice Date - 09/21/02

Waiting for finger printing notice as the people filed with me got the FP notice (yes, they are concurrent filers).

Filed in VSC

I140:
RD: 4/11/2002.
AD: Still waiting (approaching 180 days)

I485:
Filed using I140 receipt
RD: 9/13/2002
No EAD or any other approval.
FP Notice: 10/22/2002

My EAD has been approved as of Oct 8th.
FP notice is for Oct 22nd

I140 - RD 4/11/02 and still waiting. Approaching 180 days.

I haven't received anything yet. I'll let you know as soon as I do. INS website and AVM tells me that it has been approved so now I am waiting for EAD card.

VSC received my application on 09/09. No receipt received yet. Plzz advise me ...

It took them almost 4 weeks to send the receipt for my documents. And they were shut down during beginning of this month, hence the delay, I think.
 
Received EAD card in mail

I received my EAD card in mail today (Oct 12) and INS website told me on Oct 8 that it has been approved.

Over 180 days and still waiting for approval

Filing I-485 when I-140 pending - questions

Friends,
My I-140 details are:
RD-05/13/2002
ND-05/15/2002
AD- <not approved yet>

Can I go ahead and file I-485 (EAD) ? If yes then what are the FORMS I need to fill up ? I just read somewhere that I may have to fill G-28, G-325 forms also in addition to I-485, I-765, I-131, I-693 Is this true ?

I have not received any other forms from my employer , not even I-485 application.

Will Attorney send me these forms directly or will these come from my employer ? OR shouls I download these from the web, fill up and send these to my employer ? What are the forms I should send then ?

Any comment will be great help !

Is there a dedaline of some sort even for I140 ..?? What happens if u have passed 180 days after filing for I140...??? Ne advantage disadvantage..???
 
Yes

INS says in the Receipt that they will clear it in 90 - 180 days. You can call the INS Rep if it has crossed 180 days.

There are people who applied in Feb April, whose 140 is not approved yet.

Has everyone who filed their I-140/I-486 concurrently, also filed for an EAD? Is there anyone on this forum who has filed concurrently and not filed for EAD? Is it necessary to file for an EAD if the H1 is valid for another two years? What are the benefits of filing for EAD? Sorry these may be silly questions but am hoping to find out.
