I140-I485 concurrent filing

We sent the documents through Fedex overnight express. They should receive the next day (september 13,2002). I will wait to two more weeks to see what will happen, even though my lawyer said it will take 12 weeks to get the receipt.
 
You guys are really lucky guys!!! At least, you can get EAD/AP easily. It used to take about a year to get these in the traditional filing.

Has anyone got EAD/AP..

My 485 was mailed on 8/29, still waiting for receipt, EAD, AP etc.

Has anyone else filed 485 in this time-frame or after this and got EAD/AP etc.

My I485 filing receieved 8/29, ND is 9/11. I got receipt notice 9/17 from my lawyer. You will get it soon.
 
hi all

I filed my I485 concurrent processing in second week of August (according to my lawyer). I did not receive any confirmation or receipts from INS. How can i check the status of EAD and other things.

Please let me know if anyone knows...

According to my attorney he mailed the I485 packeage to the INS in the same time frame as you are. Even I am waiting on all the things. Hope we receive soon.
 
I think it is taking more time if filed from MA as compared to other states .. or maybe I am just being too impatient, mine, I-140 MD - spet 11th, no reciept yet

I filed my i-140 fedex overnight - although the receipt date and notice date were two days after mailing date - my lawyer got the receipt in about 3 weeks (as per what he told me) ---usually I understand it can take 3-4 weeks ---so be patient ---and always keep calling/emailing your attorney for the receipt - sometimes they overlook even if it is sitting on their desk ---by the way are you aware of the audit at VSC - no receipts will be mailed until after October 8, 2002 is what I think I read

:confused: I have applied for 140/485/EAD and AP, all at once. Mailed the bunch on 09/10/2002. Any idea how long will it take to get EAD and AP? Planning for India trip on November first week with my AP.

With your date it might take approximately 6 weeks because Vermont INS is closed for Audit till October 8th. You can expect your EAP and AP by October 3rd week. Check out your Finger Printing also before you go to India it might fall in Nov. too

Did you get your receipt? I mailed on Spetember 12 and have not get anything yet.
 
I just got receipt today. I mailed on 09/12/2002. I will post more details when I got info from my attoney.
 
dateline to file concurrent I- 485 and I-140

I never heard about the dateline to file I-485 with I-140 to be Sept 30th,2002 . I signed my paper on Sept 26th,2002 . I don't know if my lawyer can make it on time. Any idea?

My I-140:
MD: 6/19/02
Receipt date: 7/31/02
Status: Pending

Anybody has his/her I-140 approved within that time frame?
