I140 AD in Jan/02 and NVC Dates

from TSC.I called NVC Yesterday.They told it was not yet received.

I called NVC today nothing yet.
140AD:Jan 22, CSC , consulate: Chennai.

CSC really sucks ! every other center send cases in about 2 weeks.

Need Help !!!!

I-140 AD 2/6/02 from TSC. I had indicated CP from Delhi so to make sure I called the IIO today and was told that the 140 was not approved CP !!!

What can I do now?? I really want to do CP? I waited 11 months for my approval and now TSC screws me .....

I had a similar experience with CSC last September. My I-140 was approved for AOS, eventhough I indicated a preference for CP in the I-140 petition.
I then had my lawyer contact my INS and they corrected their mistake, reapproved my I-140 for CP and sent the case to NVC. This step took an additional month. Have your lawyer contact INS.

targetGC, I checked up with NVC yesterday, NVC has not received it yet.

XML was in similar situation, refer to his postings, seems like NVC sucks, because when he checked with NVC last Friday they said they have not received his case, but this Tuesday his Lawyer received P-3 from NVC.

So I really do not understand, should I follow up with INS or NVC.

Case not yet received by NVC yet?
When i call NVC do I have to specify I-140 or I-824 WAC#?

ckvimal - Did you call NVC and asked operator for your Case #?

Call NVC, You need to give NVC your I-140 approval notice #.
When I called next day (7th Feb) after they receive my application, Case was created and operator gave me the Case #.
My phone auto response is not updated yet.

reapproved o Jan 28 NSC EB2 not yet reached NVC

Mine was first approved on Jan 23 for AOS, choose CP and it reapproved on Jan 28. waiting..NSC also sucks..My priority date is Nov 27 2000 and still struggling to get this done.

usually they say it will take 4 weeks to get to NVC from any service center

If that did not reach NVC then I have seen in the past in some forums that they would ask the applicant to fax the approval copy and start tracing the file (what happened to that I would think they even would contact respective INS regarding that). Did you talk to NVC regarding the chance they can locate OR contacting INS for that.
