I-EAD from non-local Service Center

San Jose local BCIS office doesn't ask for any proof of residence - passport as ID is enough. Upon being asked about residence, if u mention a county within their jurisdiction, they don't ask for proof.

What is A# on the renewal.

Is the A# matching with the previous one.
What did you write in your I-765 where it says, [Did you apply for Work authorization before If so, Where you granted? Give details]

One obvious reason is MSC cant create receipts for VSC so you will have a MSC if you applied there. But as long as your A# is the same you should be good to go.
 
my previous A# number is from VSC, but i think all efile 765 forms are being processed in MSC, i think. That's why i got confirmation number as MSC-xxxx
