I-485 receipt - August/Sept 2001

congrats..

i have the same question. can i take these receipts to the local INS office and get the EAD?

You are good..

INS sends out \'Notice of Action\' whenever it takes on action on your application be it a H-1B application or I-485 application or whatever.

You have the right receipt.
 
File 485 without EAD - Desi Employer did not applied EAD ****

File 485 without EAD in Aug 2001

Details:
RD AUG10
ND SEP19
Waiting for FP

My Desi employer does not applies EAD along with 485.

I have recieved photo copy of 485-reciept from my emp lawyer.

How do I get EAD on my own then ?

Any Suggestion will certainly helps

485 Receipt

485 package mailed out on 8/28/01. Checks cleared my account on 10/4/01. The receipt should be on the way soon, I guess.

RD: August 24, 2001
ND: September 26, 2001

from what date does my 180 days count down starts. is it from RECEIVED DATE or NOTICE DATE.

mailed 485/EAD/AP on 8/28/01
RD 8/29/01 (for 485/EAD/AP)
ND 9/27/01 (for 485/EAD) mailed to my attorney.

Don\'t know when my attorney got it. My attorney told me on 10/8/01.

Haven\'t received my receipt for AP. Does it happen to anyone else? Please give me an idea. Good luck to anybody.

Fellas,
we have our notice dates close to each other. I hope that both gcdog and I get our receipts very soon so lets stick together till the rest of the processing. I am pretty sure that we can benefit each other and rest of the folks with any problems issues that may occur in the rest of the processing.

Anybody else with the Mailing Date/Received Date close to the following is welcome to share his/her experiences with us.
