Maintenance of the Excel spreadsheet is inherited from one user to the next as they are approved. About a month ago the "passing of torch" died.

I just started trying to do catch up the tracker but because it is a month old it will be several days before i can post it.

Unknown I-140 RFE after 4 days

I have not received anything from lawyer yet, so dont know the RFE yet. Do you know how long it takes for I-140 approve after they receive the repsone?


Usually the lawyer gets the RFE mail. Will take upto 5 days. You usually get 30 days to respond and no you cant find out what the RFE was unless your lawyer calls and they wont if they're anything like mine. Dont worry, it'll be fine.

I have my I-140 waiting at NSC from May 01, 2006. On Dec. 05, 2006, I-140 processing time shows as June 01, 2006. Since, it was more than 30 days, my employer called the National Service Center number and they opened a service request and told me to wait 45 days. My lawyer says that USCIS takes 45 days at a minimum to reply, but normally it is 90 days.

Is there anyone out there, who know how to track this service requests or have any experiences with them.

I-140 approval notice received

Just wanted to share my experience of I-140 approval

Strangely enough, the USCIS online case status did not show the most recent status i.e. approval until a full week (5 working days) after the attorney received an email indicating the case had been approved. The attorney actually received the original approval notice before the online case status was updated to show that the petition had been approved

Finallyyyyyyyyyyy!!! got the approval emails today on saturday.
I got 8 emails stating the application was approved on december 5th. Surprised that I got the email 4 days later but anyway its good news :)

Got Email notice today of a RFE.
Mine is a LUD of 7/29, no PP. Maybe they are moving onto these now.
EB3, CO. ND 5/23, LIN 06-172, Non Comcurrent.
I think the RFE may be to get original work experience letters not faxed copies.
 
No LUDs

I haven't had a lud in ages..however, today I got a finger printing appointment again, this time for code 2. Any ideas on the significance of this? I didn't get a LUD after my original finger printing appointment.

Folks,
My I140 was approved on Friday, 12/8. It was approved after the RFE response was submitted on 11/27.

The RFE was relating to my 3 year (B.Sc) + 3 year (MCA) qualification. I did not know more details regarding the RFE query. I did not have to provide any details to my lawyer for the RFE response. My lawyer said he had enough information to respond to the RFE and submitted the response.

On 12/8, I got emails saying that the 140 petition was approved.

Also, just before I got these I140 approval emails, I got about 8 emails saying that they issued RFE notice for my I485 petition. I dont know what is the RFE about, but was wondering if anyone might have clue about RFEs in 485 stage? Please let me know if someone knows about it.

It seems like Nebraska is waking up and doing some work. My cynical mind tells me that the wave of PP is probably settling. Way to go for the non PP members. Guys, please update your status if there has been any change. Let's keep this forum alive.

It is date on which my employer called USCIS because my file date is outside processing dates.then they gave a service request no., they also informed my employer that he have to wait 45 days before he can contact them again.

I765 AD: 7/7/06 (Got card on 7/11/06)

Code 3 done on: 07/07/06 (I485 LUD:07/08/06)

My employer sent me email saying that the I140 is approved. But when I goto online status checking I can see that the case is still pending. I received a RFE and the message says something like documents are received and case will resume.

The fun part is that the LUD changed twice but the message did not change to approve. But employer got the email before the last LUD as it is approved.

Can this happen?

???New LUD with same message.

Just noticed there is a LUD for my I-140 today. However, the message stays the same. My last LUD is 07/29/06

Can anybody with similar experience shed some light on this?
