I am sorry for that. we are both in the same boat. I-140 is not related. I got mine approved on 12/18, yet NC is stuck as of 12/11. Good luck.

Please update my info. I-140 approved after querying through lawyer on Nov 30th. Applied for I-485/ 765/ 131 on Nov 11th.

Do you need a specific reason(for e.g. >180 days etc) to schedule an infopass appointment? Will they re-direct you to use the online service for information or does somebody actually dig in through your files internally and provide you info?
 
I went there because my I-140 is past due and also wanted to know the status of my security check on I485. They tell what ever information they have, but I don't think they redirect you anywhere. But we don't go, anyway, without a reason. You may schedule an appointment for finding out your name check too. They have full assess of the files (I believe this is read-only) and they give us info based on that.

I-140 Approval email received

Hi,

I just got 3 emails saying my 140 approval notice is sent today. See my updated signature.

Exactly 6 months from the date my 140 was received.

Is anyone of you from 2 employee company...? I my company there are just two of us.. My employer and I... Does anyone have similar experience? My filing date for 140 is May 5th 2006. So far I haven't been approved.

Any information will be well appreciated.

My lawyer finally got an RFE letter from USCIS: her signarure was missing on Labor Certification. Replied today. Signature updated.

i m working in a big company although my filing date is same as yours...I have NO update too ....it seem like people with filing date of 5th may are stuck with some blackhole

thanks for the 140 tracker to the person maintaining it..!!

from what I see, is there a difference in speed for EB2 and EB3 cases.

EB2 cases latest from this forum shows June 28th, can it be around +/- same time for EB3. Mine is EB3 filed with RD/ND Oct 25th...

any guesses.?

I got a mail on 3rd jan, Approval mail from CRIS.

we approved for this pettioner and Your approval notice has been sent.....

I filed EB2 / I-140 filed May 28th and upgraded to Premium , sept and Got RFE ability to pay.

Replied RFE - on Dec ' 18th.

Approval on 3rd Jan..

Yet to receive formal notice..
Now the scramble to file I 485 before dates move back again for EB2 India...

Does CIS mail you (the beneficiary) a copy of the I-140 approval notice?

Just curious , why didn't you file I-485 , your priority date is current for the last three months.. any reason?

I140 Approved. April Receipt date. PP is worth every penny!!!

Hi All,

My I140 EB3 was filed during April 2006 (April 17th 2006 to be exact). I have been a silent viewer and have learned quite a lot from all posts on this forum.

Looks like I was one of the last perosn (April receipt date) still stuck for I140 approval. Only LUD was July 22 and no update after that.

I decided to go for premium processing. (In fact I should have done this long time back)....

Applied PP during end Dec 2006. Jan 4, online case status updated to "Premium processing". LUDs on Jan 5 and Jan 8th. And today Jan 8th at around 7 PM PST, I got the much awaited email that I140 has been approved.

I would like to express my view to all those who are waiting. The 1000$ for premium processing is worth every penny. 8 months I was waiting and nothing happened. 1000$ for PP gives you the necessary result in 2 days.

Also, for all those who are still wating, my best wishes... soon you will have your I140 approved and my best wishes are with all of you.

If you want to take my advise, convert to premium processing, its worth every penny!!
