I-140 Approved
Today, I received the much awaited emails from USCIS about my I-140 case being approved. I am very happy that I did not get any RFE since I have a 3-year degree (BSc in chemistry with a PG Diploma in Management). But, my labor clearly allowed for a combination of Education and experience. I wish all the best to those with similar case as mine. See you all in I-485 forums.

Finally there is lud on 11/15/06

my employer reached uscis and they said they are processing may 2nd cases my case was apr 3rd so they said they can't open system request because system won't take anything except if it is strictly 30 days out of normal processing time. my case is 29 days out of normal processing time. Looks like they are playing.

Last night I was talking with my lawyer about upgrading my file to PP.
Thanks to immigration department
saved my $1000 and today they issued RFE to my case after almost six month!
Interestingly, My co-worker and I filed same day for exact same position, he got his RFE four weeks ago. He was telling me,

Moving Backward
Processing dates for I-140 in Nebrask Service Center is moving backward!!!!
Last processing date in October 30, 2006 issue was May 1, 2006
Now in November 17, 2006, it is April 27, 2006.
How can we do the estimation???? Any Suggestion???

On May 1, 2006, we received this I140 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR ALIEN WORKER, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when yours will be done. This case is at our NEBRASKA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates.
