No Approvals after 05/13
We saw a bunch of approvals on 05/13/05 (Friday). After that there hasn't been a single approval or RFE(I wish no one gets RFE). I hope we get the next bunch of approvals tomorrow 05/20/05 (Friday).
Lets hope for the best.

Most likely, many guys including me got 140 LUDs before you got RFE. It normally takes about 10 days to the mail.
The approval cases have no LUDs before approval, straight shot approval. Hope you are an exception of not receiving RFE, but make sure you did not make inquiry or address change, otherwise LUDs are due to these inquiries.

xyr888, I should disagree... See Message #s 73 to 76 from gcwagon in this forum: He says that his LUD changed without a message change... but his lawyer informed him of 140 approval !

USCIS Online status unreliable
Hi all,
I got my I-140 approval notice faxed to me by my lawyer. The notice date is 5/11/2005. I checked the online status today (5/20) and it still shows the old status. I don't know what is the use of this online status. Looks like we have to go back to the old way of asking our lawyers regularly about the status updates.

Did you have an LUD on your I140 without any message change before the actual approval.... The table says you did.. I just want to confirm.

Before I got LUD on 140, I found 7 people on the forum got 140 LUD with no message change, and then 10 to 20 days later, they got 140 approved without RFE; but nealy over 20 people on this forum got LUD before they got RFE. Not 100%, just most likely or say 80% chance for RFE, still have 20 % to get approved; hope you are the lucky guy in these 20% chance. Good luck for you.

The JIT dates may not apply to 140 cases using sub labor

there are lot of own labor cases which are not even touched. see the list in this thread only. there are lot of own labour cases they didn't even get LUD's.

INS/USCIS knows if the 140 application is using sub or regular labor..
There is a form for transferring the original labor to someone else thats
attached to 140.

From the posting, looks like what you are saying is correct, LUD implied an RFE. Did you get REF soon after you had LUD ?, was there an LUD on 485 too ?. If there is RFE will the website show that status?

As per the postings in this forum majority of the LUD implied RFE after 10-15 days of LUD. Most of us had a LUD during first and second week of May. So we will know our fate by next week. If not anyways we are eligible to initiate an inquiry about our cases. Lets hope for the best !!

I had LUD on April 29. I had another LUD on May 10. The message has been chnaged to ask RFE. They mailed out RFE on May 5. Actually they issued RFE on April 28.
