I received my receipts on 01/06/2004.

I have not received the receipts yet. In fact, even my checks have not been deposited.
rarebell, can you please let me know what PD date was issued to you on all the receipt notices you received. Was it your substitute labor date or your I140 date? Please clarify...
 
Santex24 there is no PD on my receipts someone told me that PD will be mentioned only on I-140 approval notice. Mine is also sub labor. As far as my knowledge the original LC filed date will be your PD.
 
here are my details

I file I-130 seperate on 2 of jan 2003 i get approval notice on 15/sep 2004 i file I-485 oct14 2004 NY local office recieve the receipt notice in november 12 to go for FP i done FP the 18 nov on 2 dec i recieve interview letter for march 05 i have not recieve my EAD as yet still waiting for the I-485 Approval.

My checks got cleared on Jan 11, 2005. Online USCIS status states as follows:

Your I485 was received on Jan 6, 2005. It is taking between 660 and 660 days for us to process this kind of case.

Your I765 was received on Jan 6, 2005. It is taking between 90 and 90 days for us to process this kind of case.

*** I have not received the receipt’s in the mail yet.

I also posted my I-485 application on 27th dec.My I-140 is still pending.I used substitute labour with PD aug'2001.
I am still waiting for receipt date of I-485.
My lawyer says it will take 3-6 weeks
 
I am confused about the priority date issued by CSC.
I used a substitute labour (EB3) from Mar 2001 to file my I-140/485. Today I recieved the FP notice and the priority date says Dec 15th , 2004 the date my application was recieved by CSC. I am assuming this is just a mistake by a officer . I am worried now that this will considered as the priority date for my applications throught the process !!

LC filed : 3/2001
LC approved: 4/2004

ND: Dec 15, 2004
RD: Dec 21, 2004
FP (ND): Jan 4, 2005 ( scheduled for Jan 20th)

I read a couple of postings by a few people on this forum who said that USCIS had issued the I140/485 filing date on the FP notice, but later issued the sub.labor PD on the I140 approval notice. I am not sure whether this was inadvertently done by USCIS. So I'd say we need to keep our fingers crossed till we actually see the I140 approval notice. I am not sure if we'll know what PD has been issued to us before that. Any ideas from other folks??

For substitute labor cases the PD is the labor filing date of the substitute. I have already got my GC with substitute labor and the PD printed on my 485 approval notice is the filing date of substitutes labor and I hope that this should put this matter to rest.
 
I had read in this forum about the priority date for sub labor. According to Rajeev and Murthy at their chat responses, they said

- Priority date will not be inherited from labor to I485 for sub labor cases.
- Priority date will be I140's ND or RD for sub labor cases.
- They have seen some case where the PD had inherited from
labor to I485 for sub labor cases and this was a mistake from USCIS.
Once USCIS realises the mistake, they might correct it.

Nope...I haven't got the receipts or FP notice yet. Just waiting anxiously. Looks like people who filed before Dec.25th have received receipts so far from CSC. I'll let u know when I get them..
 
Basically nobody is sure what the priority date will be in case of substitiute labour.I have consulted atleast 10 lawyers and all the lawyers are also just guessing.This GC processing has become more a of a luck factor now.
Keep your figers crossed and just wait n watch for those who filed their I-485's in last 2 weeks of dec'04 with substitute labours having PD somewhere in 2001.

New user, what does "LUD" and "RD" mean exactly ?
If RD is receipt date ( guess ), then mine is 8th Dec.
Got FingerPrinting notice on 21st Dec, and fingerprinting done on Jan 6th.

What is LUD ?
