I 130 Petition

My petiton I-130 has been filed on Feb., 2003 by my mother (US Citizen). I have seen on immigrationwatch.com there are petetions done after Feb., 2003 and those have been approved.

I have pulled the information on case status on line. Currrent status says it is taking 540 to 570 days to process this type of case. Already 722 days have been passed.

I am on H1B here and my visa is expiring in May 2005 (Validation 04,2000-05,2002 and extended 05,2002 - 05,2005). Please advice.

why don't you ask your question in the appropriate subforum? You are in the student visas subforum.

Your I 130 may not processed until your priority date is current. This is the new rule. Even i 130 is approved you can not do anything until your priority date is current
