How soon a spouse of GC holder can get an EAD and an Advance Parole?

My green card was approved in Jan 2009. My future spouse is outside the U.S. Let us say she comes to to me, we marry, and she applies for a green card. How long will it take for her to get a temporary employment authorization and an advanced parole?

The spouse would come under an annual quota. There is a waiting period of several years (Check the visa bulletin for category Family 2A) at http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_4587.html)

Once she reaches the front of the line and is in the US at that time, she is eligible to apply for Adjustment of status and she will also be able to file for employment authorization and advance parole.

However, if she reaches the "front of the line" after overstaying her visa for years, she will not be eligible to apply for Adjust of Status (nor EAD/AP) if her spouse is still a permanent resident.
