Wow, we have a large group! Seems most of Oct.01-05 were untouched by INS.
 
RFE sent on OCT 11. Still don't know what it is about.

ND: 11/21/01

According to an IIO, assigned to an officer on Oct 4, and an RFE issued/mailed on OCT 11. Status updated to RFE issued, for my case alone. My wife's status still says about FP received on so and so date. I or my attorney haven't received the RFE yet. So, don't know what it is about.

Does anyone know how long it would take to receive a mail from INS after it is mailed? Please let me know.

I just saw 2 Oct01-05 filers:

So there are total 29 filers on the list:

25 still pending, 2 approved, 1 RFE, 1 local transfer.

Any new updates?
 
Spoke to an IIO - 10/17/02

I spoke with an IIO this morning. I believe my I-485 is in the staging area (I guess it means that it is yet to be assigned to an officer). The IIO suggested that they are currently working on mid September 2001 cases and depending on the number of September cases left I could hear something in a month.

My RD is October 02, 2001 and my ND is November 21, 2001.
