congrats on your GC! You'll have to first naturalize as a US citizen before you can sponsor your parents for their GC. Assuming you'll establish your permanent US residency in Jan 2011 (and have no breaks in continuous residency), you'll be able to apply for naturalization by ~Oct 2016 (5 years minus 90 days)
Winning the lottery does not guarantee a Visa,i believe you should concentrate more on getting the visa before thinking about your parents and family members.Even if you are a citizen after 5 years of the GC,you still have to make a certain amount of money before you can sponsor any body,which is really hard in the us we are 2day, if you didn't go to school here,welcome ........................................................................................the story continue just like that................................................................put your time in researching on GC winners story and get prepared for the interview.Good luck

How much salary is necessary to sponsor them and how much does a health insurance cost? Just need a rough idea, no exact amount needed.

They probably won't be able to get health insurance if they're over 65. If they can get it, it will cost over a thousand dollars per month for each of them.
You will make like 1k5 dollars amonth, if you work @ walmart lol
.so you still have 500 more to pay for only insurance.without your wife you will need to make approximately 23k a year to sponsor both parent without any other dependant which is considered as 125% of poverty level.16k to 18k is what you should expert to make a year if you have a good job and remember this job are not even easy to get.18k might be big compare to other nations currency but rememebr you got bills to pay.bills bills bills
