I remembered that at certain stages, pro immigrant lobbysts managed to sneak redution from 5 years to 4 years for eligibility to apply for US citizenship (for GC employment based).

Anyone heard if such proposal is still in the package to be sent to Obama this year?

Reid and Pelosi are already bragging that amnesty would be a piece of cake to pass. However, illegal aliens are so unlucky that when they could have a real chance to pass the law, the economy is so bad that they might not even want to stay in this country anymore

No, and even if it was - Obama cannot sign anything since he will not be President for another two months.

S1932 died, but you count it will be revived. Rumours are already starting that people want to send immigration bills before mid 2009.
