I heard of that officer at post will take one copy of AP and makestamp on another one. My friend told me that means you can not use your AP for multiple entry.Is it true?
 
vguru, have you responded on your wife\'s RFE on EAD?

Hi,

my wife received an RFE on her EAD case requesting for evidence of eligibility - I-485 receipt, I-140 approval notice & marriage certificate. The instructions on the notice of action says, "RETURN THIS NOTICE ON TOP OF THE REQUESTED INFORMATION LISTED ON THE ATTACHMENT SHEET."

It seems like they need us to return the original notice itself along with the attachments. To be on the safe side, we intend to send the original notice itself. Anyone having the same question?

What do you guys do for responding on RFEs? Attach the original notice of action from INS, or just copy is enough? I guess it is not such a big deal after all, we have made a copy of the notice from INS.

Apr mailers with Priority dates < 1/1/2000 should expect approval anytime now

Hi Guys,

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;I did my FP on 10/30 (Schd:11/27). Last friday (Nov 16th),
the AVM message changed to &quot;On Nov 16 2001 we collected ...&quot;.

I called in INS today. The lady said that the case is ready,
however they are currently processing cases with priority dates
1/1/2000 and mine is in June 2000. So it is going to take a while
before an officer is assigned to my case.

So it looks like the CSC report when it says I-485 date as 1/1/2000
it means priority dates and all the people who have priority dates
before that and have done their Finger Printing should expect their
approval anytime now.

I guess my case will take another 4+ months probably before I get my
approval.

My PD is 01/2000 I did FP on 10/20 but the AVM message &quot;FP sent to you on...&quot; It didn\'t get updated to &quot;FP received...&quot; I don\'t what to expect when INS is processin 01/2000 cases.
 
Is it true for PD? If you refer Ciba\'s list there are PD\'S of 05/00 approved for 485???

This approved case is of some else.

mine is pd: 08/2000
just did pf last week.

This PD idea doesn\'t make sense

At first, it seems common sense that people with early PD should
get approval first.

However, there are lots of GC categories like EB1 Oustanding Researcher (which I filed under) which are always current.
In this case the priority date is the date of application.
So if what you say is right, then people with GC categories
that are current will be penalized.

I still think that INS process stuff in order of ND,
or at least try to.

Had a small cut on one of my left hand fingers. Was very tensed but everything went on smoothly. Was out in 10 minutes.

Heard approval on the AVM

Hey guys, I got a very nice Thanksgiving gift indeed. Checked the machine and it said that mine and my family\'s I-485 cases have been approved on 11/16. Our case has turned age-out recently and my lawyer gave a call to CSC and explained the situation. That\'s the only explanation I can come up with for such a quick approval after the fingerprinting..

I guess that makes me one of the first May ND approvals..

I\'ll do the summary some time over the weekend.
