I'm not sure if all of these are being processed in NSC. Some of them maybe transfered to TSC. Hopefully you can get some sort of picture about their processing patten. no patten? Yah Right  :o

bored kids have nothing better to do--darn.

Actually I am curious about ND2004's since on this forum I have not heard one primary ND2004 applicant being approved. So I may run a few LIN04 numbers (though not as many as Kelvin did) and see if I come up with "approved" messages. Edited to add: I tried ten numbers close to mine but none were even I-485 aplications, so I got bored and gave up.

Hi, Kelvin, actually I had a same idea like yours before, but the question is how do you know those " case can not be found" or " approved" are adjustment of status based on asylum?

Wow!! I admire your patience! By the way, are the 2 numbers after LIN (ex. LIN03) the year of your ND and/or PD? If that yes, are this all ND 2003's?

To answer that question, I looked at my own application #, and mine starts with LIN06, although my ND and PD are 2005 (dec. 1, 2005 to be exact). If the above statement is true, then why do they have me as ND 2006???

Hi MGTgrl,

You are right. The first two numbers is the fiscal year of application. The next three are the number of days in the year. And the last numbers are just consecutive numbers.

For example if I applied on January, 26 2006. I will get: LIN-06-026-xxxxx

The federal fiscal year begins on October 1.

Thanks guys! So for this forum purpose, should I consider myself ND 2006 or ND 2005? I kind of liked being ND 2005 ;) !

Exactly.. My IP got blocked after number of trials. I spent approximately 8 min to search all the cases fall into that range. Otherwise I would be able to get more out of it.

Just to let you guys know, They are monitoring all the computer connecting to the CIS website. after a while that you search for different cases manually, they will luck your computer and you will see the notification tnat you have to creat profile for your cases and otherwise this is illegal to look at other people info, online.

You are ND2006. Because you applied on Nov-2005. And Fiscal year 2006 is from Oct-01-2005 to Sep-30-2006

Ok guys, just don't forget that NSC is also processing employment-based I-485s, which have an entirely different processing timeframe, and just by looking at the LIN# you cannot tell the difference between asylum-based and employment-based petitions. Which means that your analysis would be inconclusive.

L.

lusiks, you have lots of LUD's. And from the looks of it in March your file has been updated again; so I hope you get an approval soon.

Reasonable.
But,
I suspect it gonna take them more than two years to process employmnet based adjustment.

Oh, and I doubt that might be many employment based applicants in that area...

What do you mean by the "area"? I have friends who live in Chicago w/pending I485 at NSC for employment-based. I suspect there are numerous applications just from that city alone.

Plus, there are the refugee-related I485 s and few other sub-categories, all w/different processing timelines. I don;t think anybody can make a reasonable guess on how many of each were filed each year. I guess, my point is - stop wasting your time.

Clotty, thanks for the wishes, fingers crossed. I'll post the minute I get approval.

Thanks,
L.

Yah your right. But I just got some gut feeling that those cases are based on asylum.
