How far back should we go in submitting bank statments and utility bills? 2-3 month or 2-3 years? if I send 1 year this will be around 150 pages.

Also, my name in the I-94 is different from my name on all other documents, how should I answer part one Q C? for examble: my name in my country is A B C D, in all american documents its A B D, but in the I-94 it is A C. I don't know how this happened but I found it out while going through old papers.

I will send my application by the end of the week.

Help please.

My case is marriage based and to prove continous residency in the US. do I need to sumbit 3 years of everything( bills, bank statements and taxes), the file will be huge?

What do u think about the 2nd question about the different name in the I-94.
 
Why are you worried about the I-94? You have a GC, so the I-94 is practically irrelevant now. Just make sure to list that I-94 name in the "other names used" section of page 1 of the N-400. And if the home country name ABCD is not your full legal name, also write it in the "other names used".

You need to answer this question. Please list dates, and purpose of trip(s).

Also, was your USC spouse abroad with you during the extended period(s)?

I am not worried about the I-94 it self, I was asking if we are suppose to mention it under other names. So what you suggesting is write A C D under legal name, A D as it appears on my GC, A C as it appears on my I-94 and A B C D as it appears on my Passport( from my home country)? will this cause a confussion or delay?

We never left the US. we didn't even go out of state since I got my GC.

To make my question more clear. What suporting documents should I send with the N-400 application?

So far I have (1)the tax transcripts for the past 3 years (2)Marriage certificate (3) My spouse's birth certifcate (4)copy of the GC
am I missing anything?

You seem to be confused about what you actually NEED to prove. You seem to be filing for naturalization under the 3 yr rule based on a marriage to a USC. Do you live together? Got any kids (or one on the way)? Got joint ownership of a home or vehicle? Both named on a lease or rental agreement? Share joint assets or liabilities (bank accts or credit cards)? Do you share insurance? Do both of your licenses have the same address?

The confusion or delay would occur if USCIS finds a name or variation/combination of names in your file that you DIDN'T list on the N-400. The "A C" name is probably in your file somewhere because it's on the I-94. "A B C D" is in your file because it's on your passport, and presumably you used the passport to enter the US and/or apply for the GC. So list both of those in the "other names used" section ... unless the birth certificate name matches "A B C D", as I'll explain below.

What combination of names is on your birth certificate? Whenever there is a discrepancy with the names, they first look at your birth certificate to resolve it. So if "A B C D" is on your birth certificate, "A B C D" should be listed as your current legal name (unless you legally changed it since birth).

Sorry I am not exagerating, but I have a bad experience with the USCIS and want to cover all the corners.

Yes it is marriage based and Yes we liver together, have 2 kids, both of our names are on the lease, have one bank account and few credit cards and both our licenses have the same address. Do I need to send prove for all that with the application( it will be huge) or take all the documents to the interview? and should I document the whole 3 years?

I really appreciate you quick response.

WoW u r amazing.
the name on my birth certificate is A B C D but I have been using A B D in everything( immigration papers, DL and school), only my passport and birth certificate have the 4 names. let me make sure I understand you, you suggseting I write:
Legal name: A B C D
Other names: A D, A C and A B D.

You mentioned that A D is on the GC. So you should fill it out like this:
Legal name: A B C D
Name displayed on the GC: A D
Other names used: A C, and A B D

I would include copies of both DL's and kids B/Cs. They have your M/C already.

Also a copy of your GC and proof of your spouse's US citizenship. Bring the other stuff like bank statements and utility bills to the interview.
