Hi

I got my GC in 2005 and a naturalized Australian.

If I were to visit Canada, do I need to get Visa from Canadian consulate?

Am I correct you need to get visa before u leave if you were spending more than 3 months in Canada?

Any other things that I should know?

I haven't gone out of USA since got the GC.

Thanks

You're visiting Canada for more than 3 months? I think you can enter visa free for 6 months. You can use either your Australian passport or your Green Card with no visa.

Regardless if it is someone visiting the US or a US resident visiting another country, it is not a visit in my books if it is more than 6 months. I get 3-4 weeks of holiday a year. I really want to know what profession allows people to get enough time off visit any country for 6 months :)

anything travel outside of the US over 6 months is not a good idea... :)
