H1B and EAD

Hi,
I work for Employer A on H1B and got EAD now. Can I work for company B on EAD ? It seems to me that YES. Now my question is can I work for company B without informing company A ?

This point has been discussed may times on the board. Once you use EAD for B, you will have to switch to EAD for A also. See the sticky or search for more details.

What does it mean ? Do I need to inform A that I am working for B on EAD ?.
If I don't inform A, what will be the consequence ?
To inform A or not is not the issue. Working with B with EAD violate the H status and void it. Then, you have to switch the H with A and use the EAD too.
Actually this question has no clear answer. Some lawyers believe you can "moonlight" on EAD and remain in H1 status as long you don't violate the terms of the H1 visa (full time status, working for H1 employer, etc).
AILA recently requested clarification from USCIS on this very topic, and is awaiting a reply!
