H1 Small Firm Employer Requirements

Hi,

I am currently interning at a small firm that does online advertising. My OPT expires at the end of may. My boss said that he will consider sponsoring me for an H1. The question is whether he is eligible to sponsor.
--> He has an O-1 visa himself.
--> His company has only 2 employees, but he has people around the world that he outsources work to...3 other people. Plus, he is involved with other businesses himself.
Do you need to have a certain number of employees or a minimal amount of income to be eligible to sponsor a visa? And does the fact that he is on a O-1 visa himself make a difference?

------ as he is on O-1 visa he cannot spnsor you for H1, he may have contacs with US company and that company can sponsor H1 if you are eligible for H1.

Check your employer firm is a s or c corporation or LLC, if so he can sponser you through his firm.Do you need to have a certain number of employees or a minimal amount of income to be eligible to sponsor a visa? And does the fact that he is on a O-1 visa himself make a difference?
