H1 Extension/Transfer Tracker

What I can understand is that instead of one officer going through the complete application, they have started staging the application resulting in more open applications and may be slower approval rate :)
Did anyone get approval?

Ok guys,
Can some one explain me in few lines what application or petition (like I -539 and or I -129) is indeed filed for H1B extension. I mean what is the process and without the legal jargon how much time is it taking to get an extension (and do I have to get it stamped on my passport)

Got H-1B ext approved atlast..
Checked the status online. My lawyer is yet to receive the papers.

Here r the details:

Normal Processing..
ND: Jun 12
AD: Oct 10
EAC 02-215-XXXXX

Approval date Oct 10 2002.

My lawyer hasn't got the approval notice yet.Should get it soon.

I am still waiting for the approval for my H1B transfer application.

RD June 28th.
ND July 02.

I should expect by the end of the month.
My company told me that they are randomly receiving the approvals.
They received some approvals for the cases filed in september.

I have one question to ask, if anyone can help me.

Can I file for another H1B transfer without getting the approval.
If yes, then what documents do I need to submit.

Filed my H-1B extension March 22, 2002.

Received notice requiring more info in late August.

Info submitted this week.

Receipt Date - June 6, 2002
Notice Date - Oct 10,2002

Got the approval in my hand today( 10/18/2002).

Approval Date: November 11th, 2002

It's NOT a premium processing case.

Current processing time for H-1B ext

Called the VSC today and they are processing H-1B ext for Sept 26 now.
